I still think he is class and would love him to be in a Spurs shirt again next year, he seems to be vastly underrated by the majority of Man U fans.

There's some ludicrous comments on there underneath the article. I think there's that classic English fans' issue with Carrick because he's not all blood and thunder in the holding role.

I reckon he's absolute class and is maturing nicely year on year. He fits that United team so well, with all that attacking forward running talent they have, he just sits deep, mops things up and then sets them going again with precise, well chosen passes.
