Didnt play in the first game, came in for the defeat to Burnley and now hasnt even made the bench for todays game!!!!

Not that i feel we would get him, but that would be my dream signing! Carrick alongside Palacios would be a dream pairing!!

you never know....... HR was the 1 who brought him through at West Ham!! Cant imagine he would leave yet unless there had been some major fall out though! That would be the signing that would transform us to a top 4 team imo!

Definitely wouldn't look too much into a Man U player not playing for two games.

I'd love to see Carrick back though. I honestly believe we could be looking to put in a serious challenge to the top four if we got him.

Offer them their money back plus a mill or two.

He would be totally worth it.

Of all the players who left us in the last few years, even considering how much i adore Keane, Carrick is the one i dream of us getting back. He was instrumental in our improvement under Martin and Huddlestone could even learn from the man.

He's a natural midfielder, as identified by the big fella, and i still believe that if we'd managed to keep hold of him then we'd have been pushing that top four by now. I really believe he can have that much of a difference in the formation we played (and to some extent, still do under Harry)

It's already been said but Modric Palacios Carrick Lennon would be an absolute dream midfield, the likes of which we haven't had at spurs in my lifetime. Offer them their money back, flog Bentley and O'Hara if needs be.

That does look like a nicely balanced midfield, bit of everything.

He would be great along side WP. Like it has been mentioned, I would not read into the situation with him not being in the team for today's match. Imo he must have a slight niggle or something but even though if AF was pissed at him I would still have him on the bench over Gibson.
