The team normally fly by private plane from Stansted, so assume that won’t change. Private flights go from a separate terminal, so doubt you would be able to get near the team...

the private terminal is the terminal that was before the new one(y)

Was listening to Danny Kellys show on Talksport earlier he had Simon Jordan and Shaun Custis on and was later joined by Andy Goldstein on their thoughts for Saturdays final. Obviously Danny is Spurs, the rest of them are all rooting for Spurs. Simon Jordan thinks its written in the stars and thinks we will win it, also said there will be something wonderfully romantic about it if we do, nice to hear.

So in my lifetime (31 years of it) I have seen an abysmal 90's (sorry I was too young for the 91' FA Cup - but vaguely remember the League Cup (Worthington). I remember from my end of season VHS tapes majority of every game for the years to come up until I realised I could watch them on YouTube when I was at College! I was at Uni for the Carling Cup final against Chelsea, I dislike that competition but it was against that lot so it made it feel like more than it was. Since then, I have 150% seen a gigantic improvement in the club and teams. The Jol era was brilliant, the Redknapp era was a mark of taking another step and seeing some 'World Class' players in our shirt, followed by an over analytical manger and a nutjob called Tim - we arrived with the magic man. What a journey, dreams are becoming reality.

I ask those that are older than me if this Saturday is the biggest in our History, in your lifetimes and if you were around for 84' UEFA final how does this compare - do you have similar feelings now? I want to soak up as much feeling and thoughts as possible before this unbelievable day of our Spurs lives - hell even those around in the 60's for the double winning side. My dad says to me that was a special time to be a Spurs fan but this is something a lot more this coming Saturday.

COYS!!

I’m in the final stages of moving home, so I’ve got more than enough to distract me. Officially need to be moved by Friday so I won’t really have time to get nervous until the day of the final.
So what you're saying is. I should move house this weeK?

All the best with the move!

Five days to go and I can’t believe how nervous I am. Saturday is going to be hell, having to wait till the evening for kickoff.

The transfer moratorium isn’t helping either because there’s no ITK to distract me. I’ve even taken to visiting NewsNow just to try and divert me from thinking about the game.

Jean-Paul Sartre once said hell is being trapped in a room forever with your friends.

He was wrong. Hell is Spurs being a Champions League final that doesn’t kick off for another five days.

No Exit :)

Was woken from a dream this morning, Christian Eriksen had just fired in a leveller from just inside the box to make it 1-1, momentum seemed to be heavily in our favour.

My days are a blur. My nights, a fever-dream. My thoughts osculate between the purest forms of terror and elation. Birds chirp outside at the light of day. I listen, glad of the company. I wake from wakefulness fully awake.

I can't live like this for four more days.

I think, I believe we have a great chance of beating them on Saturday.
Liverpool are a top side who have been playing at their full potential for most of the season, can they get any better? even if they raised their game for the final would they be significantly better than they have been?
Wheras as we have only been on top form for small parts of the season, come the CL final we will be bang on it hopefully, we will raise our game and reach their level as I truly believe when we are full strength and all on it we are as Good as them and the game will be won and lost on small details luck or even a bad decision.
This is not a bravado post, I truly believe this game is 50/50. .
I truly believe we will be CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE in five day.... Coys

It is one game. One unique game - form is irrelevant almost.

So many sides to the coins - Liverpool, could they be distraught from their League Miss? Could they be motivated because of this? What will be their mindeset right now. Liverpool fans think they have won it already like they always do

Spurs - well, three weeks off, another three weeks for Kane to rehabilitate his ankle - our chance to be a part of the biggest game in our history and to make history.

So many things! SO MANY

I am going mad....

I've had so many dreams about this match that I'm not sure I'll know if the result on saturday is real or not.

No team has conceded more goals in this season’s Champions League than Tottenham Hotspur (17). 41% of these goals have come in the opening 15 minutes of games (7/17).

That is a hell of a stat that we cannot afford to repeat. Why have we started games so poorly this season?

Sorry to bring a downer on the big build-up thread

Now go back to sleep and let us know how it ends.

Probably because we've played the most games!

Ditto. Dreamt last night about the game, and can't switch my mind off from it for more than a few minutes today at work. I'm going to be a mess by 8pm on Saturday!
