“It was Impossible....So we did it!”
This Sissoko quote is fucking deep! It compliments our moto "To do is to dare".

After hours playing in this competition we have Just 90 more minutes to go lads, so lets get it done and bring it back to our new home! (y)

Well I had a dream that we won 1-0 due to an Eriksen freekick but it was against a team in yellow and Courtois was in goal. We then had to play the 2nd leg of the final a month later and were leading 3-0 from the first leg that actually ended 1-0. Gotta love the clarity of a dream right :ROFLMAO:

Who is actually looking forward to this game? I'll be honest, feelings of excitement have almost been completely taken over by feelings of just pure nerves for me. It's strange, it's an incredible game to be in, but I don't feel like I will enjoy watching it at all!

Do you ever enjoy watching us? I don't. Love it when it's over and we've won but hate the game itself apart from us scoring.

I didn't in the final third of last season but not just because we were playing badly but because I was just so nervous due to our desperate need for a win each week.

I normally do somewhat enjoy it, when I know we have a game coming up in a few days I really look forward to it. Some stages of last season were different though, was dreading watching us and couldn't relax before kickoff. I think the more there is at stake the less I actually enjoy the matches.

This is the first time I've ever been delighted for a season to end, just for a mental break.

I remember that week when we got knocked out by Chelsea and Crystal Palace in the cups and I was so mad. I had a conversation with my brother (juve fan) and I said if we don’t win a trophy this season it will be the first time we won’t win a trophy this decade and we always win at least 1 trophy per decade and I said there’s no chance we will win the league or Champions League this season, a whole decade without a trophy is embarrassing. And he was joking about that we will win the CL this season but I got mad at him because he doesn’t understand that feeling, he’s used to his team winning trophies.

Today he will visit (he moved out) and I will laugh at his face, and again on Saturday if we win

After the semi I told myself I would just enjoy the final whatever happens.

You know that nervous feeling in the pit of your stomach before a game against Arsenal? I've had that for about a week and there's still another week to go.

I felt that after City first leg. Anything from there was a bonus to me. Doesn't stop me bricking it though!

The most simultaneously exciting and nerve-racking part of this match is that you can never count either team out.

With regards the different approaches taken to preparation I’m pretty sure both clubs would have taken advice from respective sports science teams so it’ll be interesting if the different approaches have an effect.

Personally I think cos of the break, Poch is treating it as a mini-pre-season and that the final is “first game of the season”. Also hoping that the 3 week break has broken the rhythm Liverpool were on...

I wished it was tomorrow. another week of kind of excited, with a tinge worrying which I don't think I'd of had, had it been Barca.

gutted I can't be out there, wanted to go even without a ticket, but due to a bad 5 months financially the only way I'd of gone is driving my 8 seater taxi, with the worry about needing to be home by the Monday.

I feel like I'm a kid again waiting for Xmas to arrive, the last 2 weeks always felt that time dragged and took forever

Fuck me, we’re in the CL Final :nailbiting:

Still hasn’t sunk in

Crazy how it hasn't sunk in for me either. Every time I see a banner showing our crest with the headline of Champions League Final I'm still in a bit of disbelief.

No nerves yet. Even a NLD I'm more stressed seven days out than I feel for this game. There's me, two Liverpool supporters, one Palace and one Newcastle fan at work. The Palace fan fancies us to do it. The two Liverpool fans veer between nervy confidence and just nervous. I just keep saying we've got a decent chance but they are (rightly) favourites and the pressure's on them to deliver something . this season. I'm not trying to project anything - that's just what I think. Both Liverpool supporters have taken next week off, by the way. Not saying my calm demeanour had anything to do with that...

...Anyway, I got my ticket for WHL yesterday. And even if I wake up next Saturday morning somehow still relaxed I know I will feel the occasion heading off to that magnificent stadium in the afternoon. Thank f*ck we can drink in our seats for this one.

Kind of glad this has been a 3 week wait for the game because it means 3 weeks of that incredible feeling to know we are in the CL final:) I still can’t believe it: I’m looking at videos of all the powerhouse teams that have won it ( Barca, Bayern, Real ) etc and we potentially could be creating history by having our name amongst Europe’s elite. Never thought I would see this happen to Spurs, unbelievable. Let’s go and win it boys, it’s our time!!!!!

WHAT THE FUCK DUDE

I am a nervous wreck. I think the fact it is playing Liverscum has escalated the nervousness up a billion notches. Us winning would be payback time for the years of fiiiiiiiiiiive tiiiiiiiiiiiiimes amongst other shit that the Liverscum fans have been spouting. We will always have one up on them no matter what...

No matter what those fuckers say... just by me spouting one line that we beat them in the CL Final - would shut them up.

I NEED THIS - I NEED US TO WIN.

At the moment I see very few of them, and the few I do know won’t want a taxi off me if we win, and I’ll be charging them treble if they win

Tottenham has arrived on the world stage and we’re here to stay for a while yet.

Let’s make history boys.
