Having Graham Souness and Jamie Redknapp as pundits for the CL final is like having Stevie Wonder judging Miss World

The barca front three are getting overrated at the moment, this isn't a vintage barca side so its closer than people think. Lets not forget Real Madrid were much better than them a month or so back

This is closer than people think, that said if barca get the lead early I can see Juventus falling to pieces

Juve are the Lance Armstrong of football.

Fuck juventus

Had rated this 'dislike' at first, but decided to retract as it was childish to do so. You're entitled to your opinion, even if I don't like it.

People aren't going to be happy with Juve's recent history. Dig deep enough and I'm sure you'll find scandal and corruption within most of the top clubs/leagues. I doubt Barca are free of any wrongdoings themselves. Regardless, it doesn't excuse what Moggi did at Juventus.

Juve have paid their penalty and learned the harsh way not to fuck about. Broke my heart to see us fall into disrepute but we deserve a second chance. We've done it the right way since and worked damn hard to get back where we belong at the top of Italian football. We purged those at fault, unlike any of the other clubs that were involved in Calciopoli (Galliani/Berlusconi at Milan for instance), and started from fresh.

Who deserves it more is relative and purely down to opinion, but Juve need this more than Barca do. They've got the best attack in the world, and arguably the best team in the world. They're used to winning and have been a dominant force in the last decade or so. Juve want to show that they're back where they belong amongst the European elite.

We will suffer without Chiellini tonight, one of the best centre backs in the world for the last 6 or 7 years, and a real talisman for the club. He would've been the man with the unenviable task of watching Messi, and Bonucci is really going to have to step up his game in his stead.

We've got great strength across the pitch, we're a well balanced side, but we lack that cutting edge that Barca have. Our defence is great, but Barca are so deadly up front that I doubt we'll keep them at bay. Barca's weakness is at the back and we have to exploit that.

We can win this if we play as a team, play smart and keep a cool head. Players like Bonucci, Vidal and Morata are quick to get riled up so they need to stay disciplined. We're the underdogs for sure, but it isn't entirely out of the realms of possibility to win.

Forza Juve!

Did Carragher just say Busquets isn't good defensively?

Neymar transfer, cough... Ban on signings.... Yep, think it's fair to say that many a club has its dodgy dealings. Heck given the state of the game it's unlikely that even Spurs are entirely squeeky clean across our entire history, would like to think we were, but sadly football keeps finding ways to dissapoint me recently in this regard.

This definitely is a vintage Barca side. 110 league goals and only conceding 21. Comfortably beat two of the best sides in Europe the last two rounds. What more do they have to do?

No it isn't

Those numbers look great but they were poor against Madrid and didn't dominate the league throughout the season, hence why the manager was close to getting sacked and is still likely to leave

Also Bayern were poor and that partly done to no Ribery and Robben as well as Alaba. Barcelona without Neymar and Messi would be a totally different proposition

PSG one of the best sides in Europe, are you sure?

As for barcelona the 2011 team and the 2009 teams were better and more ruthless whilst the 2006 team had more magic and was more inspiring

This ceremonial stuff before the game makes it feelless important, reducing it to entertainment.

Anyone got any bets on? I've gone for Messi first goalscorer and Xavi to get the last one.

Still no mention of Heysel... Unsurprising with two ex Liverpool players sat in the studio and another one pitchside.

I bet the West Ham fans are still scratching their heads wondering why Tevez and Mascherano wanted to leave them.

If they didn't dominate the league why did they only drop 20 points? Every Barca manager is under pressure when they lose a game.

Robben and Ribery weren't going to stop Barca walking through them. I'd say PSG are the 5th or 6th best team in Europe.

This side is much better than 06. It's different than Pep's but not worse.
