I don't have my heart set on anyone specific, I don't watch much footie these days to be able to comment objectively. I just someone who will challenge Harry and maybe bring something different so that they could also form a good partnership as well. It just seems to me that a lot of Harry's goals are from some distance and all too often when someone gets around the opposing full backs there is no-one in the box to either challenge in the air or getting in for a rebound. We don't seem to have anyone other than H who will go in where the boots are flying, and if it's him that providing the chance there isn't anyone else to pick up the pieces. If Batshuayi can do that then great. If not let's find someone who can.

I agree with the crux of that, but I'll just say I think Alli gets himself in where the boots are flying etc. You are right, though, we absolutely do need another striker who can/will do it.

Yup, good point, Ali does and certainly seems well able to look after himself while doing so but, as you say, we need another striker who can.

With all the long time experts on footballers body language, I'm surprised nobody has made the case that Batshuayi obviously scored that goal to say farewell to the fans. This most certainly underlined by his weird wave with his left hand.

And he could've more easily put it into a corner, but he went straight on. That obviously reflects his desire to be straight with the fans about his intent to leave.

And he chose to use his right foot, as clearer message to the fans that it's the right time for him to move as you could wish for

He is goal oriented I suppose. None of those fussy tricks we see so much of these days.

This all sounds promising, but we all know how the easier transfers seem to drag with us! If we could have this wrapped up by the end of the month that'd be great. Would be really nice to see us not only buying quality but doing so quickly. Always difficult in the windows of a major tournament so we should try to get as many done beforehand

Greg Stobart thinks a deal will be done after the Euros (as per SpurredOn)

Word has it that he'll be not signing neither just after playing the French cup final (played already last Saturday) nor just after the Euros....but after the grueling pre-season training of Poch is over

Just waiting for some of the candid squad pics from the euros with the 'Spurs boys' with their arms around each others shoulders. Mich instead of Nacer......

Depends if he's in the Flemish or the Walloon group within the Belgian team. Until recently the two halves wouldn't even dine together during tournaments.

Great, and they wonder why they don't do well in tournaments....?
