But it adds the ability to change tactic. Even at times this year we became compressed in the midfield. Adding a second striker is an option we didn't have this year.But then we'd lose Alli's goals and link-up play with Kane. Or the creativity of Eriksen and Lamela, and certainly their workrate.
A second striker doesn't mean a 12th player. It means you have to go 4 vs 5 in midfield
Additionally, Bats is an out-and-out striker, he doesn't like to drop deep or shift outside. Kane does like to drop and move to the wing. They could foil off each other quite well.
