Dier can drop back when needed, Tangaga will go forward a lot and allow Doherty to function more as an inverted RWB which plays to his strengths.

Assuming Reggie, Skipp and Lucas aren't 100% I am not sure what else we could expect

Ι Like this lineup in a perverted sort of way. Especially if Lucas and Skipp are unavailable. Calls for "attacking" XI are IMO deluded. We have to be very solid early on, and go for it late if the shop is still open. Avoid the disaster that was the first leg of the CC semifinal. Frstrate Chelsea, then see how it develops.
Anyway, in Conte I trust. He has earned it already at Spurs, and throughout his career.

But it isn’t even solid? It’s actually just exposing a lot of weaknesses in our team… a double pivot with winks in, a cb double of Sanchez and dier.
