Ok is this mind games? Why the hell would they bench Hazard? I could see Costa benched with Hazard as a false 9 but both benched? Are they throwing this to focus on the league?

Surely they wont drop costa? The only possible reason for this is because our cbs are faar too good for a lone striker so perhaps they could go false 9 as hazard and play it that way.
If they did drop costa.......would 343 still be beneficial? Or 4231 as they will outnumber moussa and wanyama?

Even if costa and hazard are rested it will still be very difficult game....we all know what football is like. If they are without hazard and costa then the pressure is on us as suddenly everyone is expecting us to win.

They prob want to be defensive at the start, stay in the game and the. Bring on Hazard when we are tiring. Also will mess with our game plan if we had planned to man mark hazard. We need to win the game in the first half.

IF it is true, then Conte's 'we are in trouble' comment about the league is really showing. 10 down to 4 is a concern, and he will probably have the memory of being Juve captain when they blew a 9pt lead at the top of the table to Lazio (with 8 games to go) in mind.
