fucking hell. As a club we aspire to compete at the business end of the league and cups, so maybe we should stop with the inferiority complex and look at this as an opportunity for a glorious win rather than a despressing loss.

These are the sort of games successful clubs win and successful clubs play in with regularity. If we are serious about being contenders we need to get used to these sort of massive games and stop hiding behind our sofas.

So lets all man the fuck up and give it our all until the final whistle blows. If it all goes tits up tonight Im all for a mope-a-thon tomorrow

Do you think there will be an announcement today that Jose will be the new Utd manager :) that would be perfect timing. Chelsea can also announce that Rafa will be full time manager.

This is exactly why they play the game right - I mean at a fundemental level. For big games where the result is crucial. A test of individual and group strengths. The eyes of the whole country on them. I've no doubt they'll give it their all. Can't ask for more than that.

If I am basing my prediction on the fact I want to be a positive person I am saying it will be a Spurs win. If I am basing it on a realistic opinion I can't see anything other than a Chelsea win. Most people here are relying on luck so that says it all. We are not playing well and have not done so for a while. We are reliant on Gareth Bale and that is it. Tonight I will be relying on prayer, alcohol and a lot of swearing at the tv. I don't get to many games but was at this fixture last year for the goalless draw. Chelsea didn't cause us any problems and I thought we played a very assured and controlled game. Thought Ade played well holding the ball up. Bale stayed in the wing but didn't do much. I paid £200 for a ticket am was on the premium level. The guy next to me kept asking 'pardon, would u know what the Tottenham fans are singing' Yes I would, we seem to be of the opinion that John Terry is a C#^t and Mr Lampard is a fat b#^*#%d

I'm dreaming that we stuff the Chavs tonight then the next morning Jose is announced as United manager. Oh and Chavs go on to lose at Villa and in the Europa (y)

I really think the timing of Fergie's retirement will help us tonight. Chelsea fans thought Jose was in the bag next season and this news will put them on edge. If things don't go their way early on in the game, they may feel the need to remind their chairman that they don't like Rafa.

Remember the game at the Etihad 3 seasons ago, we didn't expect to win then but put in a mammoth performance after some fairly turgid recent games, lets hope for a repeat tonight!

Chelsea have to (surely!) tire from all these games at some point?! Lets hope AVB has the team fired right up and we come out all guns blazing like at old Trafford.

Yep. I'm feeling exactly the same today as I did then. Shitting myself to begin. I feel myself calming a little though. I will no doubt be dry-heaving with nervousness 5 minutes before kick off before enduring the most painful 90 minutes of my life, watching the game from behind the sofa and between my finger.

I actually think our task tonight is easier than it was back then, not to say it'll actually be easy but we have real chance of agetting the result. Hope the players do themselves proud.

Great minds but I've gone one better, I've booked the rest of the week off.:D

Just about to start getting my drink on. Valium at the ready

I hope we have done some extra work on set pieces this week. We concede regularly from them, whilst they have scored a shitload. Would hate for the game to be decided in this way.

Weirdly I'm not that nervous about this game. I think I'm pretty much resigned to defeat due to our injuries and Chelsea having hit form at just the right time (for them), together with the fact that we never bloody win at their place.

So my brain is telling me that if we get anything it will simply be a massive bonus.

COYB....I mean COYS!
