Ekotto, Parker and thudd really have to go! They are just not good enough! Also Dawson as much of a warrior as he is, just isn't top four standard with his positioning play!!

Seriously see why AVB wanted to sell Daws- he got fantastic commitment but lacks pace and intelligence to be a top class CB. He always needlessly diving In to tackles.

It aint over yet...

We were muntered against City until 70minutes.

It'll help when we take Parker off though. Its like watching a toddlers brain in a footballers body.

Not a great half. Looked Ok going forward but we look all over the place at the back. If we go for this with Daws at the back we'll get fucked.
Don't say that about Dawson; you will have all his fanbase on here telling you what a good guy he is and how he's been such a fantastic servant for the club.

In terms of chances it's been even but we just don't look like we're up for it again. We have no midfield right now. The game is passing Parker by, Huddlestone can't keep up with their players on the break and Holtby looks lost. Out of the 3 I'd say Holtby's done the better but he needs to sit deeper. We haven't used Bale and Lennon nearly enough or tried to stretch Chelsea. Our centre backs are looking a bit shakey, Ekotto is getting beaten all the time. Walker's done well though.

Huddlestone and Parker protecting the back four is fucking hilarious.

And I love Dawson, but he's just not good enough for where we want to be.

ok, sensible comment. Why is Huddlestone playing in our own half, he needs to do the damage in their half. Why is Parker not back as 'sweeper' and fuck it, why is he playing at all? Siggy or Carroll for Parker please.

You are joking right.

We would get annihilated.

We are still well in this game.

Defensively we have been shocking - but we do look as though we can do damage on the counter.

Injuries are so fucking frustrating agh. I'd have loved for us to take on these bastards with the beasts in midfield and at the back.

The problem is no one offers themselves for a pass, as soon a Spurs player
get the ball everyone runs away from them

Well, our limits are pretty evident in the mobility of the centre backs and midfield and laboured movement, but we are still in it...

I mean if Ade can do that then stranger shit can happen...

love parker's enthusiasm but he just doesn't think ahead, so many instinctive touches that lead nowhere.. at least hudd generally has his pass in mind when he receives the ball. Carroll could be a good shout, but if parker's coming off we need caulker on and verts into midfield... doubt AVB will risk it... hudd is too slow to pressure anyone either, so really we need to do both:

verts
carroll holtby (or siggy?)

They dispossess us far too easily.

That was the big difference for me. They are more aggressive and dispossess with ease, but we always concede a foul or fall on the floor.

They aren't giving us any space and then countering. Really need another goal to shut them up again, but they are a constantly a threat on the counter.

Ade was poor at first but has never lacked effort. Ashley cole is playing like a machine on lennon and walker. We need to be smarter when they press us in our half. We almost need to invite it on imo, and then find hudd and HOPE he can get the ball forward. All the time they have 11 men in their own half they will just crowd out our dangermen.

Still, Im enjoying the game, and we have nothing to loose but go for it.

Scoreline pretty fair, we are still in it but..... have Chelsea really conceded 0 fouls that half or am i just being biased seeing fouls that are not???

We've been fouled just as much, if not more than they have, just Dean steadfastly refuses to give us anything.

This will work out two ways. Bend over for a 4-1 defeat or take it by the scruff of the neck and get the next goal making it a nail biter

hudlestone wants for fucking ever on the ball an dont get me starte on ekotto cos he makes my fucking blood boil, never seen a player with less passion in my entire life........we need to get rid of that sack of shit in the summer i would rather play with 10 men than have him ambling round the pitch!

Arguing with my dad. In my eyes for both goals Parker loses his man? He is awful. Thoughts

A fully fit Kaboul and Sandro (and the Dembele that was playing alongside Sandro) and this is a different game.

To be fair we set up fine. I blame individual mistakes. Daws for the first. Hudd and well...daws for the second. Apart from that the plan of reaching half time 0-0 is in tact.
