I honestly could see Lambert loving Adam Smith. He fits the mold perfectly for Villa. Inexperienced? Yes. Successful in the Championship? Yes. Young? Yes. Position of need? Yes.

I would rather we ship Naughton out and keep Smith..

I agree, Livermore cost us nowt, and Naughton's value will be covered by Walker's value as it was a double deal...
£15 million gamble i reckon as we have better young players than Kyle and Jake that is not a bad price...

Agree with that, villa were dross for most of last season, they didn't create a huge amount of chances, to score 19 in your first season in that team is bloody good going
