No idea why anyone from yanited, villa or pool would have a probelm with us. assnal is easily expained. Apart from those 4, the rest have a problem with us, no doubt, because like their clubs we've had vast swathes of time rooted in mediocrity and sometimes downright ineptness. Yet, we're still the 5th most successful club in the land. They can just suck it, frankly.

This is what I always believed to be true, however it seems not with all of these anti Spurs Threads on various football forums.

I find it very strange to be honest, beacuse yes we've got a very rich history, but we've been shit for a long time and we know it. It's only recently we've become good again, but I don't think that we are getting too big for our boots about it.

Message boards attract a certain type of fan, and within those message boards, a certain subsection of fans talk shit. Actually talking to people face to face, Spurs are, on the whole, well-liked. Don't base everything on what you read on message boards

I don't really know why so many people dislike us. We try to play the proper way. We're highly entertaining (for better or for worse). We have a lot of English talent. We don't pay stupid wages. We're not a dirty cheating team either.

They must just hate us fans. But to be fair, at times we hate eachother.

That used to be the case around the times of Hoddle, Francis etc, typical poor spurs throwing way leads etc amongst the fans of the so called top four. But now since the days of Jol there has been a lot of resentment towards spurs as they are seen now as major players in the League with a squad that can match up to others, and we can beat the big sides, and now you have other teams that are challenging as well like City, Villa & Everton, those fans now have resentment towards us as we are seen as main opposition to them doing well. We might have the support from the fans of Blackburn, Bolton, Sunderland etc, but I rather have the resentment of other fans as is a sign of jealousy. We couldn’t be as hated as City at the moment?
