Saw bits of it. I as the player were coming out, Corluka and Modric were sharing a few jokes with Dzeko.

Joe Hart is standing over the guy who is announcing the teams, once he gets to announcing the spurs names, he reads out a few including Carlo Cudicini and then Hart turns away and says....dropped him. I assume he was talking about Gomes...and it looked like he was heading off to tell the rest of them....

if this was the case, was there a clear tactic to target Gomes for them....I would be doing the same If I were the opposition I guess.

Could be totally reading this wrong of course.

Your assumption is wrong. He said "yeah he's dropped him" .. then he says "crouch" so he is either talking about pav or more likely Defoe (having scored more recently).

He did go up to Parks at the end and asked him about Gomes, so maybe he was just curious to see how a fellow goalkeeper was doing? They all seem to look out for eachother.

Doesn't make sense why they would be waiting to hear that, its not like any of our strikers have been threatening.

Gomes I can understand given whats happened lately.

yes, goal keepers union and all that. But in an important game like this I wouldn't be so sure...and was that after the final whistle? When they had won if you take my point.

Yeah, it's not like a keeper would want to know if he is going to have a (don't laugh) target man to "battle" with or someone who will shoot from further out (and still not score).

!00% certain he is talking about the strikers not the keeper. you can hear it clear as anything.

Yeah listened again, and he does say Crouch...I had cut off after he said...dropped him.

Must mean Defoe then.

Was it not the announcer saying Crouch?

Surprised at how friendly the players were with eachother in the tunnel before the game. Can you imagine the United and Chelsea players being the same at the weekend?

He says after dropped him " not even on the bench" so mean Gomes I reckon.
He then says " cant see him playing"

I think its like this

Hart : He's dropped him
Someone else : Crouch ?
Hart( talking to someone else): Not even on the bench......... can't see him playing.

I thought the same thing

Obviously Hart doesn't have a very high opinion of Gomes...
