Take in mind that Platini is head of UEFA..
Yeah I get that, I'm just saying that I find it unlikely that they could not only do that, but also keep it quiet, simply because of the volume of people that would have to become involved and/or know about it.

It's not impossible, and the fact those two disallowed goals would have put Ajax through at Lyon's expense does add a little weight to the theory, but nowhere near enough for me personally.

No, it wouldn't have. If Ajax lost 2-3 they would still have gone out.

Oh wow! I've just seen the goals, (and Ajax's disallowed goals).

Now I understand why people think there might have been something fishy going on, I still don't personally see it, but I'm now 51/49 rather than the previous 90/10.

If Ajax went 2 - 1 ahead against Madrid at home and had this been the score at the break Lyon would've had no hope at all.

Brings me to another subject, those 2 yellow cards given to Leko were one of the softest I've ever seen.

Well taken in isolation out of context that photo could imply DZ were giving Lyon a helping hand, but the video of the same incident doesn't really support that.

I'd have to see the video but that looks pretty damning...and incredibly stupid too.

Wow, just seen the goals, Lyon literally walked through the Dynamo defence, and the goalkeeper didn't even both trying to save them, very fishy

Watched the Ajax game goals up until their 2nd disallowed one, the 1st one was ok but understandable that it could have been called wrongly by the linesman, as for the 2nd one, brilliant goal, an absolute fix that it was not allowed, and Real's 1st goal looked offside to me too

Ajax have lodged a complaint to UEFA and are requesting an investigation into the Dinamo match and the officials for their dissallowed goals. Told you. Let the shit storm commence.

Feel sorry for Ajax. They're a club I've always had a lot of time for and it looks pretty clear that they have been done up like a kipper.

The worst bit is knowing exactly how this will turn out. UEFA will pretend to look into it then dismiss it before continuing to exist as the cash-sucking Juggernaut that it is...just as long as they get their share of the fix money.

And Clattenburg was the ref for the Zagreb game. Just sayin,.

Shit really? Well that signs, seals and delivers the corruption charge completely in my book. Clattenburg is as bent as Darren Bent practicing yoga whilst watching 'Bend it like Beckham' with David Bentley.

This is the extent of his bentedness.Nicolas Bendtner would also do some bent stuff to add to the bendworthyness.
Gordon Strachan pointed out that the Lyon players didn't seem to reat with delight to their goals and anxiously rush back to the half way line to quickly re-start the game. There never seemed to be that element of tension.

Coming from someone with Bender as their avatar, I think we can both agree on the bent-esque nature of that game.

When I heard the result I thought it sounded dodgy, but the manner of the goals, and as you say the attitude of the opposition all pointed towards a pretty obvious and clumsy fix.

Clattenberg was the bent cherry on the top. Did you know Clattenberg is so bent he wins limbo competitions by default?

Its sad how easy you will accuse a referee of match fixing.

Especially one that has Euros and World Cups ahead of him.

But its much more likely that a Portuguese ref, an English ref, a French team and a Croatian team all combined to fix two high profile champions league matches.

Not just any referee though is it? Clattenberg is in a different league altogether. I'm guessing you've never looked at his track record?

He had financial problems and was fired over it. He was never accused much less convicted of ever match fixing.
