Hi,

I got my Level 1 Coaching certificate in March. I just wondered if there were any other coaches on here?

I think you'll find everyone's a bloody expert on here, especially around about the time the final whistle blows :)

 I've noticed. Level 1 is kids football, although in some ways I think it must be harder than coaching the adults

Hopefully they'd have enthusiasm to learn rather than at an age where they think they know it all already!

I run an adult Sunday league team. Have no badges however. Definitely need to find time/money to get some!

The level 1 is 32 hours so. It took 3 full saturdays plus 2 midweek evenings. That in itself is a big commitment when you have a young family. I enjoyed it though, glad I did it. I'm not bothering with level 2 though that's 8 full weekends and isn't required for the level I'm coaching.

ever, contact your local FA - they will have a website as well. Mine was Sheffield & Hallamshire. You can book yourself on courses when they have places available. My towns football club sorted mine out with the local FA. I was lucky enough to get booked onto McDonalds sponsored one which provideed me with coaching equipment FOC as well

I won the league on Winning 11 (PS2 version). I thought I'd get something for that but the woman jsut gave me an earful for "wasting time".
