“I have made it clear my whole career I am a Tottenham fan and I would love to see Tottenham do well,” said Kane. “There is no other team in the Premier League I would want to win than Tottenham.

“To experience a new league, if I got to 40 and I was retired and I looked back and never played in another league I would have always wondered what it would have been like. So now I am here, I am excited and it will always be a decision I never regret.”

I look out for their results now and I want him to be successful. He’s a good lad and a great player imo.

Until this summer he’s never stated before how keen he was to play abroad and if he had got that move to Man City, would he still have wanted to go to Germany?

Seems to me he’s trying to just say the right things as per usual to please the fan base of where he is currently playing.

If we’d have been winning things or he’d gone to a club in England competing, he’d never have wanted to go abroad.

Stop talking Harry.
Stop being asked questions in mandatory interviews as England captain Harry

He’s said everything perfectly here, loves Tottenham, wants us to win the league, will always support the club. Yet they still try to spin the headline into a negative to generate clicks

Break-ups with loved ones are fraught with regrets, anguish and pain.

The pain in this case is the presstitutes filling column inches in their penny dreadful rags for clickbait

We have a new love now and maybe he’s the one ?

A truism my dad once said to me which has stuck with me ever since.

"When you are older, you will probably regret the things you didn't do more than the things you did"

Harry Kane decided to leave us. He is entitled to and I am entitled to have no interest in his career now he has left.

I believe he is a Spurs fan as are his family. He went to win trophies, understandably. What I reject is this 'if Spurs win the title, I would not regret leaving' (not happening, just to clarify!). Utter tosh. If you're a Spurs supporter, then you will be gutted that you weren't there to do it at the team that you love.

*edit* I suppose he's not going to say 'i regret leaving' as it would not go down well with Bayern.

Interestingly I saw this from Roy Keane a few days ago expressing regret at never going abroad, so I think it's probably a common sentiment:

Don't a lot of the top footballers aspire to play abroad? It's just unfortunate he fell into the trophy winning managers trap with Jose and Conte. If he had told Levy to back a football manager then he may have got the success he wanted.

He was born in Ireland, I’m pretty sure Manchester United is in England, he also played at Celtic. He should regret not attending geography lessons.
