In my head, Liverpool are favourites to win the Ropey League.

In my head, the goons will finish in 4th place, after getting done by City, exactly as we did a few years ago, when Chelsea finished 6th, won the Champions League, and knocked us out of qualification for the following season.

So....they finish 4th, Liverpool win the Ropey and Liverpool qualify for next season's Champions League INSTEAD of the filthy bastards from Woolwich, who get dumped into the Ropey.

Nothing, and I mean NOTHING would make me laugh as I would if that happened. All the shit I've taken down the years from goons, for always finishing up above us.

Seeing as we are no longer in the competition ourselves, I will be happier for Liverpool to win the Europa than a non-english team. Their bizarre fans be damned.

I am pro English teams winning European competitions as its good for the Coefficient and its good for the psyche of the English players.

Most Germans I know support the other German teams other than their own when they play in Europe, but for too many reasons we in England seem far to tribal for that.

Well, I choose to buck the trend and say good luck Liverpool.

For that to happen you have to hope Man City to finish out of the CL places and also win the Champions league as well as Liverpool being victorious in the Europa.
