we didn't really hit our stride till November while Leicester started like a train.

They deserve it......all those 1-0 wins were impressive.

They deserve it. Well done.

Hard to win it when the whole world is against you, you know fairy tale and all that.

Unbelievable achievement, despite still being a little sceptical about how the transformation came about!
If it hadn't been us chasing them, I'd have been cheering them on.

Absolutely right. Congratulations to Leicester.

In the end they did what we couldn't do. They ground out matches and turned tight games into wins, where we drew them.

That's the mark of Champions and they deserve it because they were the only team that did it.

I don't get the sour grapes from some of you guys, it isn't at all sporting and we're better than that.

We've had a wonderful season ourselves but Leicester did what we just weren't quite experienced enough to do. The experience will make our young squad stronger though and that is really exciting for our club.

What I have enjoyed the most about this season is that both teams have shown that the togetherness of 'the team' can be a mighty powerful thing if you can bring it together.

Just look at the disgusting amounts of money spent by the likes of United, City and Chelsea on individuals. Prima-donna mercenaries who don't give a flying shit about their clubs.

I'm fucking delighted that one of us won it over any of those gaping vaginas of football clubs.

The fact that our clubs will likely be 1st and 2nd place is even better.

Finally I think it's funny that the very thing that frustrated me at the start of the season, that the TV money was making it harder to buy Berahino, appears to be one of the main reasons why the league has been so unpredictable this year.

The middling clubs now have strong teams because they can afford players who can change games, which means that if a club like City have an off day there's a good chance they'll get beaten.

It means that the teams with the best mentality and resolve have a great chance, because almost everyone has a sprinkling of quality.

Hope this stays the same next season because I think we'll be right up there.

Anyway, once again, congrats Leicester. Deserved.

@Spurrific

Saw your deleted post. I understand the frustration. I think I just don't have much 'angry' left in me.

That's fair enough, I was a bit OTT in my post - hence the deletion. I still can't stomach congratulating them. I'm gutted. This might have been the best chance we ever get to win the thing, and we've fallen short.

It upsets me that Leicester have the mentality to do it and we don't. I'm sure I'll congratulate them eventually and even in my disheartened haze I can appreciate what an accomplishment it is - I just can't be level-headed at this moment in time. Especially as it was those ****s that made it mathematically impossible and I hate them 100 times more than I hate any other team.

Congrats to them they deserve all the plaudits that they are about to get. Fantastic achievement I really like Ranieri not my type of football but it worked for them fair play.

The one thing that I absolutely loved about them winning the league is the bewildering pride opponents fans and players, especially from Arse and Chelsea, are taking in degrading themselves to bask in the joy that we did not make it, conveniently forgetting that what a wretched season they have had.

They call us legends. We did not lead the league at any stage of the season. How can we bottle something that we did not posess in the 1st place.

I'm all for rivalry and banter, but to see them players and fans revelling in our failure to win the title in the manner they are doing is just pathetically embarassing.

Congratulations Leicester!

A remarkable achievement in 2016 where football is based on money and hierarchy. Any other season I would have been cheering them on the whole way. Spurs are losers and a laughing stock as per uje. Did you really think we were going to be allowed to finish 2nd or 3rd without some kind of tragic mocking fodder? icing on the cake will be Arsenal finishing above us after we've been giving it all that despite only being a few points ahead.

Hats off the Leicester, totally awesome achievement. It turns out your team really can win the league..

Do not believe for one minute that that sort of behaviour is anything else but how they are choosing to deal with their own embarrassment.

Deflecting it on us.

Chelsea may finish 10th. Just think about that for a minute. Consider the wage bill, consider the transfer fees.

10th.

The smart thing for them to do is stay deadly silent and pray that they sort themselves out because one thing is now certain, those two clubs are fucking petrified of the team we are becoming.

They know we're not going away now.

Here's the difference between us and Leicester:

From a winning position in the second half of 7 separate games this season, we went on to drop 15 points (Arsenal twice, Leicester away, Newcastle home, Stoke home, West Brom home, Chelsea away). From a winning position in the second half, Leicester only dropped 5 points (Arsenal at home and West Brom home). We also had numerous games where we simply couldn't find the winning goal when dominating most of the game (Chelsea home, Everton twice, Liverpool twice, United away, Swansea away).

In the end, it's very difficult to accept that with our goal differential and quality of play, we'll end up at a maximum of 76 points. I think many are taking solace in the belief that next year we'll improve enough to win the title, but I also think a lot of people are slightly underestimating how quickly Chelsea and City can recover with transfer signings to make themselves really potent next season.

City, in particular, is apparently lined up for a 200+ million pound spending spree, and Guardiola is a guy who will attract the best of the best. Mix in Mourinho at United, Conte at Chelsea, Klopp at Liverpool, and Wenger under unprecedented pressure to spend heavily, and we have a league next season that will be more difficult than ever to win.

I hope we don't look back in 2-3 years time and say what could of been about this season. Finishing 2nd is a fantastic achievement, but, I mean, the financial ramifications of having won the league title would have been spectacular. The amount of brand equity the club would have gained, on top of massive sponsorship deals in the build up to the Stadium opening, would have been in the hundreds of millions of pounds.

With that said, Pochettino has done an incredible job with very limited resources this season and deserves to spend whatever he wants this summer to build the squad he thinks he needs.

NBCSNs documentary 'The Leicester City Story' can be seen here if anyone is interested.

It's like an episode of Premiership years for a country that doesn't care for the music of Oasis.

Seriously?

Why not just put a direct link into the Leicester City Football ground webcam? When can we all look forward to a video of their open top bus ride?

Yes well done leicester they had the ability to see it through unfortunately we didnt really ever put them under pressure enough because we could not get near ti them.
They showed us clearly how to see out games which against wba and last night we are unable to do, in fact it has been an issue for us this year with far to many draws.
In many ways Our story was similar to theirs a perfect oppurtunity to deliver the title in a season when the big boys left town, but it was not to be for us and leicester grabbed their chance and made it count.
Just hope We nail second spot now and look forward to next year doubt we will get this close to the league again but cups are a more likely option imo.

They absolutely deserve it. I don't know how they have done it in truth but they deserve it 100%.

Also as a club that has lost Carrick, Berbatov, Modric and Bale because you need to move to win things this has a certain silver lining.

The landscape has today changed, if you want to win a league and you're willing to work hard as a group and have a bit of skill you can do it.

If we'd lost to an oil doped club, we'd be sat here thinking it was impossible but we now know that it isn't.

See the good and be happy about the future.

As long as we beat Arsenal of course!

Something i really want to tell the world...

Leicester Won The League

Stop making it sound like Chelsea helped them win it. They would have won regardless of what happen in Stanford Bridge. It was always their title to lose.

Full credit to Leicester, everyone expected them to choke, but they proved their metal and picked up points.
