I rate him, think it would be a smart signing if the price wasn’t high.

We shouldn’t judge Chelsea players on last season, they were in a mess worse than us and we definitely need to give some of our own the benefit of the doubt.

I think the landscape is very much different under Boehly than Abramovich.

As for Gallagher, I think his spell at Palace he looked excellent as a box to box 8 with a penchant of making late and penetrative runs in the box with the finishing to boot. Was a mess at Chelsea last year so difficult to assess a great deal of the squad under successive different regimes - much like our campaign.

Price is key but as a replacement option for PEH in the squad I’d be keen but less so as a creative alternative to Maddison.

Gallagher was really good at Palace a couple years ago tbf. If we don't get Maddison I wouldn't mind him.
