Antonio Conte has admitted that managing Tottenham is his biggest challenge yet. Conte has quickly become aware of just how big a task it will be to get Spurs back to the top table of English football after an eye-opening first four weeks in charge.

So right. Huge difference between Poch knowing the what and Conte actually knowing the why and the how.

It's taken 3 managers to again reach the conclusion Poch made. Such a shame but hopefully the right man in charge this time.

Well said. For all Poch's qualities it was under his tenure that we signed the likes of Aurier and Ndombele so I for one had some question marks over his judgment/direction on transfers..

Poch for me still needs to take his share of the blame.

He was the manager (and refused a director of football) so should have been identifying realistic targets to refresh / improve the squad.

There was ITK at time that stated he wanted likes of De Ligt and De Jong and refused anyone else for example.

Levy Is obviously Levy as well, but blame goes both sides.

Some of it also has to fall on the supporters.

If we'd had sold Dier and Toby to Man Utd when they came in for them, there'd have been uproar but in hindsight, that was a great opportunity to refresh that we didn't take.

There's tonnes of examples of this, the most recent being the Kane saga.

It hurts seeing the your good players getting sold, but what is happening now is because of 4 years ago. Fans need to get their head around it so the club can cash in at the right times.

I think Conte has surely to be Levy’s last throw of the dice. If he fails to back him properly and starts trying to cut corners when it comes to signing the players Conte wants, then Levy will definitely have to resign from his position. It can’t just keep going on.

It’s a bit of a reach to blame the supporters for a hypothetical reaction.
