Also Messi is far and way the best player in the world. Its not even close.
He is playing so far behind the ball - Pirlo would be jealous. And, he is still dominating.

US are crap, but Argentina look very good. I hope some of the training and intensity of those guys rubs off on Lamela

I hate Kyle Beckerman with every fiber of my being. Worst player in the history of anything.

Yedlin just beat Coco on a pass down the flank - put in a decent cross, before fluffed by Pulisic in the box.

Very bad storms in Chicago. The semi won't be starting for a while.

Am I wrong when I get the impression that Copa America really has low priority among the biggest nations? It seems like Brazil doesn`t care too much, when they don`t include Neymar, Oscar, Davis Luiz etc in their squad? And Argentinas latest line-up at their game versus USA gave me the impression that this was half way a B-line up..? Am I right?

To be fair to Argentina, they still gave the US chops.

In a word...No.

Brazil sacked Dunga for losing, who I think was also going to manage the Olympic team - so bad timing for that. They could not play all of their stars in both Copa and the Olympics, and Neymar opted for the Olympics.

Argentina started Messi, Lavezzi, Higuian, Banega, Mascherano. Di Maria was injured, and Aguero was on the bench unneeded in the semi-final. Gaitan is in the squad, but suspended for the semi-final match.

Chile has won the last two matches by a 9-0 score, so I think they were taking it seriously, with Alexis Sanchez and Eduardo Vargas

Colombia has their A squad, including James, Bacca, and Cuadrado.

Thanks for informative answers. And the new rules for the Olympics are that it`s no longer required that 8 of the 11 players are under 21, isn`t that correct? If that`s the case the Olympics might be a second world cup in football then?
