Delighted for him. Was gutted when he left but only wish him the best now. Imo he hasn't played as well for Real this season as he did in his last year for us and yet he's still done fantastic. In the next 2 years he will dominate all.

Nah just look at how he hits the ball. Crazy! Loss of pace will weaken him for sure, but with that left foot, wow. Just play him in the hole behind the striker and just lay shots for him. His movement is incredibly intelligent as well, something you don't see from the wide positions, always trying to make space. And has underrated passing and crossing abilities. It is interesting that a lot of people on here when he first arrived thought he'd make a good defensive midfielder. Part of me would still like to see that.

Great goal. That's what Madrid stumped up the cash for. Guess we were fortunate to have him for as long as we did. Oh Gareth! to think you could have been playing in the same side as Kyle Naughton and Danny Rose this season!

So he ran outside the stadium, drove home, shagged his girlfriend, ran back in and still got to the ball before Batra....Now that's impressive!

That goal could only be scored by him. Almost superhuman in the way he gets in front of him. It's surprising to see, and that what makes him incredible. The best players, the special ones do things you didn't think possible after watching so much football.

He is my favourite player, I'm excited to see him career progress.

An absolute travesty this boy wont be playing at the World Cup.

Think we should start a campaign for a Great Britain team in time for the 2018 World Cup!! Front three of Bale, Sturridge and Stirling. Pace, pace and pace.
