Could GDS play in a Modric role?

I'm curious what people think.
I don't think Geo Dos Santos had much of an opportunity under Harry, I've seen him play for Mexico and he has lots of skill and can pass as well as score and assist.

Would he be able to play a MF playmakers role?

What do people think?

Unsure he is dicaplined to hold the middle, more of a final 3rd player. Excited to see what the next boss does with him.

dont think he could play CM, but then he is still young so who knows how he might develop with the right coaching and attitude.

I think he still has potential as a left winger/forward if he knuckles down and works hard

But as a CM in the English Premier League - no

Can our laziest player play centre midfield? Can our shortest player play centre forward? Can our worst tackler play in defence?

All questions that I need answers too.

Modric is mobile, holds the ball well, can turn and accelerate away from an opponent, has a great touch, is very aware of the space around him and is fit enough to centrally go up and back. GDS and VDV can't do many of these things and that is why they are both unlikely to replace Modric centrally for Spurs

I'll be honest I only clicked on this thread to see Spurs Bears response.

As for the question, no not all.

I see GDS more of a right sided player in a front 3, think that would be his best position, cutting in from the right. I'd definitely keep hold of him though.

Biggest problem Giovani has had when given the opportunity to enter the pitch is that he has been used as a wide midfielder when he clearly is a forward. Wide man in attack trio yes, wide midfielder in a 4 no. Can't see how central midfield would prove any better for him.

Gio's only chance of a Spurs future for me, is if AVB comes in and want to use him in the Hulk role.
Like Hulk he's always dangerous when he cuts inside from the right and goes for a shot.
