Holtby is awesome - he's got such an infectious attitude. Really rooting for the guy, and definitely think he could play his way into our first team. Lovely goal too, and with his wrong foot. How about this for a midfield line up?

I think that's got a good mix about it personally. Less brutal/physical than were Dembele to play there, but with a git more guile. He's a clever player Holtby, who looks like he's bulked up a bit and who's work rate and passing means he's well suited to that role.

We just need to confirm Lamela and Eriksen - if we do, I will start getting pretty bloody excited about the season.

Excuse me but Dembele isn't just brut though...where I feel people are getting a bit confused by Dembele as he has so many areas of his game thats not fully appreciated- if your talking about guile then Dembele most probabley has/is the most guile full of players in our squad.

Yup I agree, he's an extremely talented player - he would bring something to pretty much any side, including our own. I was merely suggesting an option of how we could play.

I reate him really highly, don't get me wrong. I'm just saying that in certain circumstances, Holtby's superior passing could give us a different option. Lovely to have alternatives!

AVB is going to have a massive headache trying to pick the team but thats only good for Tottenham and competition. I like Holtby his an interesting player he has good passing abilities and vision but personally I see Holtby as more a direct duel with Capoue in a three man midfield or behind the main striker-
Dembele too is unique great dribble abilities strong, Dembele IMO has a very high ceiling even when that ceiling is not apparent in all games played his work rate is frightening, theres not a player in our squad with his skill sets IMO
