Suddenly remembered we were playing tonight and a frisson of excitement went through me, genuinely haven't felt that for a few years now.

COYS!

I would like to see Lo Celso start to give Maddison a bit of a break. Lo Celso needs game time and we have a pretty tough run coming up, it would be nice to see him get some match sharpness. With Bissouma back I would also start Hojbjerg and give Sarr a rest. Where we have the depth we should use it.
This is a masterclass in how to fuck things up for no reason.

No matter how much direct evidence is presented to the contrary, people still try and convince themselves that Lo Celso is a top class playmaker. The quality drop off from Madders to Lo Celso is massive. One of the biggest dips between starter and reserve in our team.

Is that what I said?

Really think we should play the strongest team for the difficult matches and rotate when we get slightly easier matches.

So play them all tonight and rest for Chelsea :)

As Chairman of the Take a Draw Now Society
i advise against taking a draw now
As last week this is a bottom half team with at least two key players missing.
We have Bissouma available and have the opportunity of going
5 points clear before the weekend.

Obviously our golden start will come a cropper at some stage but not today.

We have no Europe, no league cup.

plenty of recovery time between matches, gone are the times giving someone minutes to help out, we go out to win a game woth our strongest 11 every time now right up until the season finishes

Today dragging for anyone else?
Slowwwww bro.

Hopefully we put on a show tonight against a weakened Palace team.

Usually this isn’t an easy fixture for us but they just got pumped 4-0 and are missing their best 2 players, they’ll put 11 men behind the ball and frustrate us but I don’t expect them to offer too much attacking threat.

Here’s to a solid win and go 5pts clear.
