Richy has nor been as bad as everyone says, has aged us a few times getting back and put a few nice passes round the corner, sarr has been quiet but we can't play Davies with these tactics. Worried every time he goes forward as no way he is getting back.

Just keep hating, mate. Richy created the biggest chance, not his fault Maddison can't square it off to Son. What did Son, Madders and Kulu do better this match?
It’s fcuking bonkers…created our too best openings…son madders and kulu have done fuck all. Yet it’s all on richy…blinkered beyond belief

Hmm, not sure Royal is the answer here to breaking down a resolute Palace team if i'm honest.

Not surprised Davies is being hooked. He just looked lost in this system

Correct decision. Davies is poor. Next good decision will be hooking Richy for Johnson.

We’re stuck today, as Richy isn’t getting to the line, which in normal games is ok with Destiny doing that on the left. Problem is Davies is so slow getting there, the whole left side has been poor.

in general I really want us to get a pacy one vs one specialist for the left wing as a priority along with a 3rd CB.

a clear signal that Davies can't play this position in this system.

Emerson on at HT.

can't believe it'll be long before Johson comes on.

As for Jamie Carragher. Fuck me, his voice goes through me like a dose of salts
I had chat gpt write a story about him the other day, can’t remember why but this is what it came out with…

Jamie Carragher, a proud Liverpudlian, had always been passionate about football. From his early days playing on the streets of Bootle to his triumphant career with Liverpool FC, Jamie's life revolved around the beautiful game. But as skilled as he was on the pitch, Jamie had one quirk that would follow him into his post-playing career - a thick Scouse accent that caused him to unintentionally spit copious amounts of phlegm whenever he spoke.

After hanging up his boots, Jamie transitioned seamlessly into the world of television, becoming a respected football pundit. His insights were sharp, his commentary on point, but there was one problem: every time he got particularly excited about a topic, his accent would thicken, and a mist of phlegm would accompany his words.

Initially, his co-hosts tried to handle it with grace, subtly wiping their faces and continuing the discussion. But as word spread and clips of Jamie's unintentional spitting went viral, it became a running joke on social media. Memes abounded, and a popular GIF circulated of a fellow pundit ducking behind an umbrella during one of Jamie's heated debates.

Soon, nobody wanted to do face-to-face interviews with him. When Jamie walked into the studio, other pundits would conveniently find reasons to distance themselves or would insist on sitting on the far end of the set. Some even started wearing clear face shields, humorously claiming it was their "Carragher guard."

Feeling disheartened, Jamie considered quitting the punditry game. But then, his producer had an idea: why not lean into it? They launched a segment called "Carragher's Corner," where Jamie would discuss the week's highlights from behind a transparent screen, making it safe for guests to engage without fear of getting drenched.

The segment was a hit! Fans loved the self-deprecating humor, and guests lined up for the chance to be on "Carragher's Corner," complete with its splash zone. Some even playfully wore raincoats or brought their own umbrellas, turning the segment into one of the most-watched parts of the show.

Jamie's career took off in ways he'd never imagined. He became known not just for his football insights but also for his unique brand of humor. He even launched a line of "Carragher's Corner" merchandise, including branded umbrellas and face shields, with a portion of the proceeds going to local charities in Liverpool.

Jamie's story became a testament to resilience and the ability to turn perceived weaknesses into strengths. Through humor, self-awareness, and a bit of creativity, he became a beloved figure in the world of football punditry, proving that sometimes, it's our quirks that make us truly unforgettable.

The problem with the bench is that all the players that could potentially change the game have very little (if any) game time under their belt.

So major changes are unlikely unless things drastically change.

Established Premier League team playing well - it happens.

Madders off the boil a bit, should have played it first time across to Son. Hopefully just a quiet half.
