Not at all, I’ve always liked Davies in a back three and he had a couple of decent cameos last season as a fb, the problem we’ve got is that Destiny is such an upgrade on what we’ve had in previous seasons.
As I said previously in this thread within about ten minutes you could see our cbs outlet was either right, middle or up to Richie, it was like playing with ten men.
Ange obviously saw it at half time hence Emerson coming on.
I agree with all of this. I just think likening him to a traffic cone is disrespectful.

Your reply above is a much better, respectful and balanced observation.

Blatant bias my great big pimple riddled, hairy arse. I suppose 'impartial' means he should say we'll run away with it :D And I doubt very VERY much that Ange or anyone else at the club takes anything a pundit says as seriously as some of the precious fans on here. Faux anger. Bollocks. And dripping with irony too.

The only bias around here is the agenda against any pundit who doesn't flop their cock out and run around spraying geat big fountains of jizz all over the place whilst shouting out that Spurs are gonna win it. The bloke can't win can he. He doesn't think we're going to win the league. Fucking criminal. The bastard.
Talking of pundits it was hilarious how Parish in the pre match interview called out Spitgher and N€vill€ when he said how you pundits seem to have as much influence as UEFA when they tried to catch him out.
I like Parish, how many chairmen do an interview pitchside pre game? he’s one of the only chairman who is open so don’t back him into a corner

Would be a good Mock the Week question.

If the answer is 276, what is the question?

The amount of times Romero played it back to Vicario in one game.

Anyway, I can’t believe they didn’t press Vicario when he had the ball, not until the very end when they scored. Roy must’ve been going mad. They just stood off him, 1-0 and 2-0 down, Vicario had every right to do fuck all with the ball.

2 horrible London derbies out the way and 6 points better off…. One more to go….

I tend to agree what I would say though is that very often the substitute often benefits from the hard graft that the player has put in for 70 minutes.
The fresh legs against a tired defender is a factor. Swap them around I wouldn’t have been surprised to see the same result.

Yes that's a fair point, but I liked him against Arsenal as well.

Loved hearing the fans raging
It was clearly a Hodgson tactic as Romero likes to draw players onto him to create space for passes and they simply wouldn't engage him for the whole game.

So it was funny that they were fuming at us when it was due to their lack of pressure/closing that meant it would be rude not to for Romero.

I think it was pretty clear that Woy didn't want them to press Vicario, even once they went down. All of their joy came from dropping into a mid/low block and winning the ball back in the midfield. The few times they tried to press us, we played through them and cut them open. Sitting off the backline/GK was clearly tactical. The players looked uncomfortable because they were being booed by the fans for doing what their manager told them to do.

I couldn’t believe how much time Vic had to stand with the ball outside his box. Just stood, giving a little feint one way then the next with no pressure on him.
Fans booing was hilarious. If we stood off a team like that at 1 down I’d be livid.

5 points ahead after 1/4 of the season and we’ve still only played 4 home games.
Only a quarter through the season but essentially a third of the way through the away games. To have taken 14 points from our first 6 away games is insane irrespective of opposition. we’ve already taken more points away from home than West Ham, Forest and Wolves did in the whole of last season.

I was not able to watch it tonight but read a little in this thread and you would think Richy played the worst game in football history. Now I managed to watch the first highlight and all 4 of our attacks worth showing in the first half were thanks to him. Sonny and Kulu were not shown at all.
The same psychosis that led to spurs fans shamefully booing Emerson royal is now happening with Richarlison.

Johnson -Maddison- Johnson- Son! Put us into the Sonshine five points clear at the top of the Premier League.

Brilliant crossfield pass by Sarr to open it up. The whole move was pure "the Manager's first name and the word "ball" jammed together". The epitome of patience and waiting for the right time to strike. Palace refused to press even at one down so we tried to draw them out. Some passes are missing as the camera pans away to a Palace sub getting ready but what we can see is Romero to Van De Ven to Romero to Vicario to Romero to Hojbjerg to Porro to Sarr to Johnson to Maddison to Johnson to Son and GOAL! Brilliant football and a lovely team goal.

Dimitar Berbatov has made a prediction: https://www.football365.com/news/ma...-derby-prediction-liverpool-tottenham-arsenal

“Crystal Palace vs Spurs is an interesting game. It’s a tricky one because Crystal Palace can surprise teams if they’re in the mood for it. Spurs, on the other hand, need to continue this trend of winning games. The real character of the team will be judged when they lose their first Premier League game. That will be the moment when we see how they bounce back. Unless they go one better and go the whole season unbeaten… imagine that, imagine that!

“Listen, it’s going to be like this. Spurs will win the title in their first season without Harry Kane and go unbeaten. Take that Arsenal! Everybody will be like ‘I can die peacefully.’

“I will go for a Spurs win because I want the fairy-tale to continue. To that, the only thing they need to do is stay concentrated. Nothing else, they need to stay concentrated. Prediction – 0-2.”

2-2 draw then four wins in a row then 2-2 draw and four wins in a row again! Incredible resilience from the boys. This is not Spurs as we knew it.

Flew over for work and managed to squeeze in time for the game and obviously glad i did . Had to sit in with the Palace fans, but managed to just about stay quiet.

Really strange bunch the Palace fans. The amount of abuse they gave to their own players was unreal.

Ange sonned Carra and Gareh in such a jolly way. Made it all the more complete.
