Palace are set up so negative and to frustrate. Imagine what they will be like if the take the lead. To be fair to them the tactics have worked so far. Frustrating to watch though.

Not sure if it's anything to do with Palace.

We've had plenty of opportunities but it's been flat and sloppy so far.

Eriksen, for example, has had about 6 moments about 40 yards from goal with three clear options where he's fallen over, dawdled or misplaced a pass.

Basically, it's more Rochdale/Newport than Juve/Real. Need a kick in the arse.

Plenty of time left...

Jeez, you lot need to stop shitting your pants. It was a bit of a pedestrian half, nothing more.

We've got 5 gears to go through and a bench capable of tearing them a new one. Save it till after the match.

Imperative we increase the intensity in the 2nd half. Palace are there for the taking and with Chelsea and Man U playing each other later this is a massive opportunity to get back into the top 4.

Tough old half. Hodgson is very adept at producing these dig in performances. His teams are very good at the deep press.

I don't think we're playing too badly, we have been a little careless at times, but they are waiting until we get into their third then steaming in, forcing some of those errors. But by and large we are going through the right motions.

Days like today you need Kane to take that rare chance (he needed to dink not smash) and the FB's when they do get into good positions to make it count.

If we can put 2 past juve in turin then we should be able to score against almost anyone. We just look way off

Hennessey went straight through Davies early on after Davies had touched the ball away from him. Absolute 100% nailed on in my book. Not sure about the other one - probably offside.

Saw the first one, defo penalty. Like you, didn't see another one.

I' really surprised Aurier started over Trips.

There's very little between them and they both have major deficiencies but surely this game would have suited Trips abit more.

2nd half will show what we are made of. Simply, if we can’t beat that ramshackle side Palace we are in serious trouble...COYS

Really poor half, sloppy with the ball and lacking any creativity. Doesnt really look like Palace have had to work particularly hard. Usually better in the 2nd half though, hopefully will have enough to beat them.

The "other one" was the one called offside. There is some debate about whether it should have been offside. Did the defender play the ball?

One goal would open the floodgates but we need to score early 2nd half.....Hope Poch had a word in their ears during the break...keep the faith folks...
