Baaaaaaad news about Vertonghen. We now really need lasts seasons wanyama to protect Sanchez and Dier.
They will go over the top! They have 2 6’3 center forwards. They will put long balls in and try and bully us. And to be honest I would worry without our first two CB pairing playing today. I have been saying for a few days now about Toby, he’s injury is more serious than they were saying. They are desperately trying to manage it and we might well see him play against Rochdale but I wouldn’t expect to see him in CL or EPL for a while. Vert’s news, well just really bad luck. So now we will see how good Dier is at CB - not as good as our first CB pairing so I can see him getting bullied today. Wanyama as we saw last week is nowhere near fitness but with Dier moving he has to come in, again not good.
I expect palace to play deep and compact and frustrate our forward players and catch us with long balls out. I think they will do this and nick a goal. 1-0 palace.

I think people are underestimating the 4 in our back line. Davies has had a very good season, Sanchez has had a great debut season, Aurier has actually been extremely good for his debut season, and Dier is a seasoned team player. In front of them they'll have Wanyama on fire.

Is it me or is this viewing angle useless? Can't even see the lines on the far side.
