Wow. Know lots of people who work for AIA.... Don't particularly like most of them...

Well.... Asian money is good I guess... Iirc, AIA is partly owned by AIG... The one that paid big bucks for man utd shirt deal a few years ago.

Repeat after me "any money is good" - "any money is good" - "any money is good".

I have no hate for that kit. Piss on the home shirt a concern, but the third kit was a beaut.
I always love a yellow third kit. No arguments there. The swishes and yellow sides etc. Not to mention the bust logos. Still, decent season wasn't it? Hope for a repeat this season I guess.

Considering the sheer size of the logo and the way it completely dominates attention on the shirts, you'd have to think they're paying a huge sum of cash for it.

Actually companies have their own brand to control, life (suprising to a few) is not all about Spurs. Some companies have a couple of vaiences but most will maintain a standard to ensure brand integrity. Take the London Underground logo, different colours actually mean different parts of the business etc, if we were sponsered by the Tube then the logo would have to be red and blue, we couldn't then change that as it would be not advertising their brand effectively. If we changed the colour of AIA then i would suggest they would lower their sponsorship as we are not selling their brand as strongly....

They do, but some are more happy to vary them:

Ok after a quick cry I think I can live with the home shirt even if the logo is red and has 2 big 'A's in it....

But the away. Just. looks. bad.

So who do we have to avoid playin away in the cups to stop us wearing that away strip.

Swansea
Bolton
Leeds
Derby
Any more?

Newcastle, Sunderland, Sheff Utd, Port Vale, MK Dons, Grimsby, Luton, Notts County, etc, etc lots of obscure & some well known European sides
