Hey guys, I know I haven't posted on here for a while but when I saw this kit today.. I can't help but put my opinion in to the mix.

Being a graphic designer, I really don't understand what is going through the designers mind when lumping this red monstrosity on the front of our shirts. Firstly it's red.. that part is obvious, but shouldn't we say like "Listen, thanks for all your cash and that but red sponsors on shirts probably aren't going to sell that well". Secondly, the red sponsor on the blue kit.. WOW, just wow. Lastly, it's not even lined up properly, the sponsor is literally like millimeter below the crest, it looks ridiculous!

I mocked this up quickly to show that actually the sponsor could go well with our kit if they decided to put a little bit more time and thought into the process.. I understand their companies logo is red, but that makes me want to throw up, swallow it and then throw up again! Rant over.

Ok after a quick cry I think I can live with the home shirt even if the logo is red and has 2 big 'A's in it....

But the away. Just. looks. bad.

So who do we have to avoid playin away in the cups to stop us wearing that away strip.

There are plenty of examples of Spurs kit with red in them over the years, and it wasn't till the 50s that navy tops started to creep in, along with various amounts of yellow, the sickliest colour in the universe.

Bit more money in the pot. Ugly logo. Never given the tiniest speck of shite of that "never red" marketing guff. Red is as good a colour as any in the visible spectrum.

It's AIA's decision what logo they want to put on the kit. We're making money out of it so who cares.
