yes, lets put kids in the one competition that can get us champions league while playing strong teams in the ones that can't.

Don't see how we can blame the cup match, it was 6 days ago...
It was a poor performance and then for once this season the calls didn't go our way, in the end we were the ones that fell 2-1. This team has lots to improve on, the Chelsea result is very misleading.

Not for me.
In Poch's first season we are going to see some inconsistency regardless of cup games.
Today I don't think tiredness was the problem. Palace sat back a lot and we've seen how Lennon gives us width, Towsend failed to do this job today.
Bentaleb has shown his range on passing can help us break team down and Mason's tenacity means teams can never relax. Dembele and Stambouli just didn't do the job today.
There were a range of problems today, don't think our performances in the cup was one of them.

2/3 cups over a 4th place finish for me all day every day, remember when the CL was just for Champions those where the days awwwwwww bless

Let's be honest with our current squad, if we go further in the fa cup, reach the cc final and keep progressing in the europa cup then we have absolutely no chance of top 4 and will probably do well to finish top 6
We’ve already played the most games of any team this season and it's no co-incidence that since the Europa Cup break we’ve significantly improved our league position. That won't continue once that competition resumes
It's difficult because we’re in danger as per usual of spreading ourselves too thin in all competitions and finishing with nothing again
I would prioritise unless we get 1 or 2 in during the transfer window. Still doesn't guarantee anything mind you but it does give you a better chance targeting 2 rather than 4!!!

For me, we need to compete on all fronts and we need to get used to competing on all fronts on a regular basis. be brilliant to win the europa but I would also like to pick up a domestic trophy and a top 4 finish will most likely mean the south london travellers miss out.

Look at the scums squad compared to ours. For us to finish top 4 with 1 striker and all those games to come is madness. You must be under the doctor!!
They had Ozil, Ramsey and Thicko on the bench yesterday with Wellbeck and Wiltshire back soon!!!!

We're not good enough for 4th unless we get 2 or 3 quality players in Jan (which isn't going to happen imo).
Bearing that in mind I'd like to see us win a trophy.
This doesn't mean we have to run our players into the ground though. Kane and Eriksen are being overused imo. The problem is we are so reliant on them we can't afford not to play them, even against half decent opposition.

I'd like to see him use more of the squad but he just doesn't seem to have confidence in them. I was surprised he didn't start Dier at centre back in the FA Cup. These are the sort of games we need to do a bit of rotation in. Not a complete change of team but a mix of fringe players with first team players.
