Gonna make this pretty short as I am a little half cut, but I am immensely proud of our club, even after getting dicked on tonight.

Yes, we didn't play well, but Mourinho knew exactly where to apply the pressure, every time Modric or Bale got the ball they were swarmed and choked off it. It is an education, sometimes it is only one way to learn where you need to improve.

Real brought on 3 subs that cost more than our entire starting XI, that is the level we are fighting against, and there is no shame in being bettered.

Those who think Harry has lost the plot - take a reality check - we still have never had it so good.

Agreed and their is no harm in trying, so we might as well make a atmosphere similar to Seville match

and go for it, if we scored 3 goals against inter, we can get four against a real madrid team with only two good defenders!

Yes very true, but I'm just disappointed with Crouch and the manner in which we conceded the 1st, 2nd and 4th goal.

Small club mentality.

The exact mentality we are trying to get away from.

Or you are just the kind of deluded Spurs fan that chooses to ignore we have a tiny wage bill and haven't won a title for 50 years.... Seriously, get real and realise what we have done in the last 12 months, and let's hope Levy builds on it, even if Harry leaves for the 3 lions.

We are a small club. We are not Manchester United, Liverpool or (Spits on floor) Arsenal. It would take years for us to be regarded in the same way. Schalke will not become a big club by playing in the CL Semi Final, Leeds did not either.

We cannot afford the top wages and the top transfer fees. We will have to accept that our place is not at the top table just yet. We are going places and this has been an amazing adventure. We need a long term strategy to bring in young players who will develop into the top class players we need.

When Harry goes, people will be disappointed with the sort of manager who will replace him. We will have to go for a young and up and coming manager like Owen Coyle and give him time to create a dynasty like Sir Alex. Our next managerial appointment must be for a minimum of ten years.

We are not there yet, but this has been a very enjoyable taste of what is hopefully to come in the next few years.

Chavkev you are like a breath of fresh air. Hopefully others will, in time, understand that apart from very wealthy clubs like Chelski and Man Citeh, there are no quick fixes in football

Are you suggesting we adopt a big club mentality? Or perhaps a slightly smaller than big club mentality? Or a slightly bigger than small club mentality? The first step is clearly to dispense with reality and embrace fantasy.

Unfortunately this argument falls down because our board were unwilling to spend what money they did have on upgrading our strike force .

Agree with your young manager proposal , Harry and Roy Hodgeson do not have enough years left in them to establish a dynasty .

Owen Coyle would be an excellent call as would David Moyes or even Tony Pulis . You can discount any of them if Daniel brings back the D.O.F.

Can't help feeling that Owen Coyle will be able to leap frog clubs like Spurs and move straight to a big one which will get him the players he asks for .

As Harry has said , our youth development is not working , we are not bringing enough players through the ranks . This really needs to be sorted out .

Bang on, I am really proud of our boys last night barring crouch who was suicidal, they battled their hearts out and didn't deserve to lose by so many, however you have to look at it realistically you cannot go down to ten men against a team like real or inter and expect to get anything other than a lesson, twice we have done it early in the game and twice we have paid for it, important lessons learnt!

Not true. Our board will and have released funds to Harry for new strikers.
The buck stops with Redknapp.
He wants to keep shit players and not upgrade on them even when money has been available to him.

If truth be told, I'm not too dissapointed about last night, just the manner of the defeat more than anything else, Crouch made two really bad decisions but these things happen. Jose knew our players inside out and set his team out to perfection, with ten men and the pressure they exerted their was only going to be one outcome.

However if we can use this defeat and react to it the way we did to the FA Cup semi-final defeat last season and go on a run to reclaim 4th we'll all be more than happy. COYS

Some fans are an example of given a foot and wanting a mile!

Be proud of what we have achieved. How many clubs have got this far in their first season and doing in style by beating reigning champions, topping the group and beating 7 time champions.

And by the way...it's not over yet :)
