Not sure anyone is actively wanting to sign him, just that some aren't bothered if we do.

My opinion is this won't happen(for various reasons), but the fact is he is on the list of sorts so I wouldn't count it out completely.

They need to hurry and work their way down the list just over 24hrs

Stylistically in the squad Lucas for James makes more sense, as the pacey winger/rwb off the bench option. How much is Lucas really going to play anymore for us, helps slightly with hg (not CL though)

What surprises me is that he would join us in WC year, he will only be a squad player,isn't that why he left Utd cos he wasn't playing regularly?

At least Traore has a high percentage of take-on's success...James doesn't even have that. Leeds wants to replace James with Gakpo, which is who we should be going after to begin with...im so confused...

The problem with that was when we’d leave gaping holes in the squad attempting to save a little bit of money. We’re not scurrying around trying to find alternatives to Musacchio, Moutinho or Dybala because we signed that level of player back in June/July.

No chance, as soon as Zaniolo was off and we were getting no money for outgoings we've started looking for band aid patch up options for the season. I'd rather we kept the squad as is rather than weakening it by replacing Gil and Lucas with Dan James.
