Showed an awful lot of commitment and drive yesterday but I thought again he was very sloppy in possession. Prefer Davies personally.

I think Davies is better too but the best thing about the current set up is that it doesn't really matter who is playing full back at the moment as none of them let you down. Brilliant to have and Rose played his part yesterday.

Always a bastion at the back, and often creates one key chance for us In a game. Deserves the recognition he's getting.

Also redknapp has a good eye for wingers who should be full backs and full backs who should be wingers it seems ;)

Horses for Courses Trix and yesterday was as much about physicality and upsetting their rhythm as it was about quality going forwards. I can't remember a time when we could rotate the fullbacks depending on the game and especially when we could do it seamlessly.

I don't think the discussion as to who is better, Davies or Rose, Walker or Trippier even needs to be had, I'd say they're on a par in terms of form, it simply comes down to fitness and opposition. I think Poch was spot on to start Walker and Rose yesterday, totally nullified their threat out wide.

Danny had a very good game yesterday and I might get a bit of stick for this but i didnt like how he didn't kick the ball out when he signalled he was going to, bit unprofessional from him there imo. But still had a great game.

10/1 to make the England squad. If it was anyone but Roy picking the squad, I'd out my house on it. Would be a travesty if someone like Gibbs gets in ahead of him

No arsenal player at the moment deserves to be in the England squad, but you can bet your life atleast 3 will make it.

Yep Tim was right about our squad being 'so similar, much of a muchness'

They're all playing at a similar excellent level and can be swapped in and out on a whim.... Though I realise that ass goblin meant it disparagingly

I was having a debate with someone yesterday as he believes left back is our weakest area. I think both Davies and Rose have drastically improved, but could see his point from an attacking point of view. There just isn't anyone available who is better. Think they will both continue to improve as well.

I absolutely love his feisty attitude and he was good defensively yesterday but similarly to Walker I do think he is clueless going forward.

This is doing a disservice to our lads. There aren't many around better than either, forget available.

Shows how far we have come as a squad if people are only seeing left back as a potentially weak area. Like you I agree both are very good players and have offered a lot.

Amazed someone would point out full back as an area of weakness. Friends who are fans of other clubs all seem to admit to me there's not a team in this league with as good a set of four full backs as ours.

bang on. We dont have to have favourites, they all play for Spurs. And they are all very good at what they do.

If you call rose sloppy in possession then what would you call walker in possession ?
