Do you think Danny was offended in some way to being relegated to play against Qarabag? Like it was an offence against his ability or something?

I like Rose, I think he has come on leaps and bounds over the last couple of years - that said he was very poor defensively last night which is really a symptom of the fact he isnt a natural defender. He can defend a bit but its his ability to go forward that gets him picked.

I am not sure about that. Davies is steady, unspectacular. Rose does things with more flair, but is he better? He is certainly more "Tottenham"

I agree. I prefer defenders who can defend, and I think Davies does that better than Rose. He's also fairly tidy in attack, though he certainly doesn't/can't bomb up and down the wing like Rose can.

I don't dislike Rose, but I can't overlook his relative defensive frailties and that occasional massive error just because he gets up the field well.

i was a bit surprised by how poor he was against Qarabag but still think he's the player who suits pochettino style better. Still i expect Davies will start this sunday as Rose did play the full 90 AND had a poor game.

Even when the rest of the team is going through a lethargic spell during a game, Rose still plays at 100mph whenever he's involved.

It's great to watch.

I said all last year that Rose was our third best player (Huge/Kane/Rose) and I think now that Kane is maybe settling back to his more realistic form, Rose is our best outfield player.

It is always nice to see players like him and Mason trying to make things happen until the end

He is an angry little man and I do like that about him. Very good this evening I thought.

We do need that bit of bite. He puts in full blooded challenges and not many in our team will do that. Sure, every now and again he'll give away a silly foul as a result, or even get caught out of position because he's not the best defensively (like 90% of full backs out there nowadays), but he has been a consistent performer over the last 12 months.

He's the last I thought would make it as a 'poch player'

Shows what I know! :)

Interesting idea rotating full backs from one game to the next.

Keeps them fresh and playing out of their skin

There were some saying he shouldn't be in the team but today he was brilliant bar the crossing, which ironically was the reason behind our goal

Also brilliant play when kicking out the ball for Kane

Full back rotation keeps them fresh and someone like rose likely to have no more than 10-12 games left to play this year. Give your all
