We'd be utter fools to agree to that. We should not be selling him this summer. No way.
Here we go.
"Sky Sources" Say he wants to join Chelsea or United this summer. On TV now.
I think that's the biggest thing. It's about respect. I'm really disappointed in him for doing this. And it's gonna cause issues with management and fellow players I'm sure. There's a chance that it's not all as sinister as it appears, but even if that's the case it causes problems. Will be interesting to see how Pochettino addresses this in his presser today or tomorrow, and what we get from Rose through the OS or other of the coming days.Gary Neville is bang on the money. There are ways of doing things that someone in the position of Danny Rose should be doing. He is the best left back in the league, Englands first choice left back, and he owes all of that to both Pochettino and Tottenham. To come out with this, even if many agree with it, is wrong. Air your views in private with Poch and discuss them like a professional, don't be a d*ck and go to the papers.
I have lost a lot respect for Rose here.
Tbf it does go on to say only if we're prepared to sell him. He hasn't asked to leave either so this is a non story.
i cant really find too much wrong with what he has said but I would expect him to express it privately to Poch and Levy and not the world at large. Bad show in that sense. But he is saying what we are all thinking.
Depends though - Poch could easily decide Rose needs to go because he has been an utter fartknocker. If we sell him and get a ton of money for him to be honest I don't even care now.
Very strong statement. Using untenable in your statement gives it a totally different meaning.Surely isn't it much more likely that Poch leaves with him, Poch's position is being made untenable as he is not being given the tools he needs to do his job.
But that would send out a terrible signal to the other players: kick up a fuss and you'll be sold. All they'll need to do is start whinging to the press and they'll get their move. We have to make a stand.
I think you're missing the point, its not that he said that its that Sky are saying that. That's the problem with saying anything to the media, they'll spin it any which way. We'd be utter fools to agree to that. We should not be selling him this summer. No way.

Some valid points but don't go to the press - keep it in-house.Only a handful of years ago, so many of our fans slated him, now a few years on we all expect him to be loyal to the club?
I can't blame Rose for what he has said as a lot of it is true. He lives far from his home and gets paid a minimal amount compared to footballers worse than him who play elsewhere.
Although I can and will say that this is unfair to Pochettino going into the new season, who has made him the player he is.
Let's not kid ourselves that this is a call to arms or telling the chairman to pull his finger out. This is shit smearing disguised as passion. This is a let me out shout.I've slept on it... and woke up with a thought.
He keeps talking about the future at the club.
"We want to win the league at Wembley",
"I’d love to see more signings. It would lift me seeing a top player come through the door."
It's weird, really weird, he slags off everyone but talks about what he'd like to do at the club. I just don't get, I don't he's fallen out of love with the club and wants to stay, for this season at least. I'm not really sure what the point of this interview was. Unless The Sun paid him shitloads to do it.
seriously this is the only outcome imo.Selling him is the most idiotic thing the club could do in reaction to this.
