We have a crazily packed schedule coming up and Ramos needs to pull out all the stops:

06 Thu Away Anderlecht UEFA Cup 19:45
09 Sun Home Man City Barclays Premier League 15:00
15 Sat Away Portsmouth Barclays Premier League 15:00
18 Tue Away Man City Carling Cup 19:45
22 Sat Away Arsenal Barclays Premier League 12:45
26 Wed Home Fulham Barclays Premier League 13:00
29 Sat Home Reading Barclays Premier League 15:00

7 games coming up this month...

We could make a big difference to our league standing if we win at least a coup0le of them but my faith is very low at the moment and the games weve got coming up are Juandes hardest yet....

He has to start playing Hudd from the start, he could even play him as a backup centre back... He did it for Derby and did a good job...

Zokora needs to be kidnapped for them to stop playing him. Dawson is still awful and Robinson could have done better for the goals on sunday... Scary stuff at the moment..

The worst part of it all is that Bale is out again.... Gutted!

Ok so our injuries are pretty bad but if injuryroom.com is anything to go by we should be ok in a couple of weeks:

Tottenham Hotspur:

G Bale Ankle/Foot Injury no return date
J Jenas Sprained Ankle 1 week
B Assou-Ekotto Knee Injury 7 months
A Gardner Sprained Ankle 2 weeks
R Rocha Ankle/Foot Injury 2 weeks
L King Cartilage Knee Injury 2 weeks

I still feel like we will do well in UEFA this season and in theory we could do a lot in the carling cup as well...

to be fair to robbo he really cant and shouldn't be blamed for sunday at all. In my view this month really is the crunch point. I think our realistic targets wi;l be sighted by the turn of the year. Wether it be a top 6/7 spot, or a cup run. Just hope the jan transfer window brings about some decent signings otherwise i unfortunately see a very dark and dank season ahead.

Ramos has some thinking to do.

He knows that the players he is putting out aren't his first choice and to some extent it is governing his tactics.

He has to decide whether to play safe with what he has, or take it back to the training ground for an education in this 3-5-2 system he has twice rolled out in second halfs now.

It is a tough time for Ramos. He has absolutely no cover in central defence and is limited with what he can do because of that. Once the central defenders that are out injured start coming back into the squad he will have more options but at the moment it is a case of getting the best out of what he has available.

Like what was said before, when our injured players start coming back we will start to climb that table. At the moment with people like kaboul making mistakes, it wont have to much of an effect on him as he knows there is no cover. If he made those mistakes and gardiner or rocha had been fit he would most certainly not started the next game. Competition for places brings out the best in people usually, look at thudd, I have personally thought he has been outstanding when he has came on in the last couple of games. With this xmas schedule there is alot of winable games there and i think we might just pull a alot of those games off and climb that table.

I certainly don't think Robbo can be blamed. He has a shoddy defence is front of him and they're incredibly unpredictable.

I agree that things will be hard over the coming weeks, it's a real test for the guys and I don't even know that Ramos can be blamed for the way some of them are playing at the moment!

I think it's a real shame Jenas is out, he was finally starting to show a few of the 'hater's what he's about. Zokora? I really like him too but agree we need to field the Hudd more often.

Saying all that, scoring 2 from I don't even know how many chances yesterday says quite a bit about our strikers too! It's just all a big effing mess.

Ramos has not had a full week to work with the squad, we have been playing weekend/ midweek every week (except for the international break when majority of first team squad was away). I would imagine you cant trainn properly with only 3-4 days between games(days rest after match and not beasting them on the day of the match)it will be interesting after he has a chance to work with all the players all week, which will be after city at home.

If he made those mistakes and gardiner or rocha had been fit he would most certainly not started the next game.

From what I remember of Gardner he's as likely to make the same type of mistakes that Kaboul makes and he's way more experienced.

Yeah he's getting better either that or the defence has got that bad he shines in front of it!?
can we be bottom by christmas?
I really hope not, Ramos has got to take us to all three away games and make us get a win at least at one of the three and a draw at one of the other two,
Hard as that may be?!
gonna be a tough two months coming up though.
