Apparently J.D. has had blood taken which is then centrifuged to separate the plasma out which is then re-injected .

Can't say I feel comfortable about this but then I don't know anything about it .

What do Spurs fans who are undergoing dialysis several times a week think about it ?

Does anyone know whether this is injected into the injured area or whether it is just back into the bloodstream ?

Is it actually beneficial to the patient or is it just an unnecessary risk to a young mans health ?

I haven't heard that there is anything risky about it, but i'm not particularly knowledgable on the subject.

I save the rainforest by having my shit centrifuged then re-injected into my ass.

Is it even possible to centrifuge a shit?
Imagine trying to take a shit whilst inside a giant spinning bucket or on one those pikey park rides. You could squeeze with all your might and the force would just keep it in. Either that or it would plop out and just sit there next to you on the wall as you spin.

Where there's a will, there's a way.

I don't understand how you can be "uncomfortable" about something, and yet admit to total ignorance on the subject.

What you mean people going on about Defoe's blood?

I mean the stuff about taking shits and wiping of arses, it was funny thats all. It actually reminds me that it's nearly time to make my nightly brown deposit, and if you're wondering, I don't use paper. I'm old school and use a wet rag wrapped around a stick.

So just to be serious for a second, this procedure is designed to increase growth hormones by spinning blood in order to make the plasma separate. The plasma is the part of the blood that contains whatever it is that increases growth, so this part can then be isolated and re-injected in order to give the patient a more concentrated dose.

Apparently it can make the healing process quicker by up to five times the normal rate of recovery. It's basically like liquidised Sandro in a syringe.
