Only spurs fans can want to sell a striker who is on course for 20 this season and help us finish fourth.

This guy is our Ian Wright

Small thing but can we as a site please have a policy with decent articles of a) posting a link to the original article and b) putting the journalist's name

It's a very good interview and deserves to be clicked on/the journalist recognised

I understand if its something from the gutter press slagging us off that we wouldn't encourage it

I find him a hard chap to like but there is no doubt he on course for his best season for us. AVB loves him according to this.I just hope he bags another brace later today.

He lives around the corner from my grandparents old house in potters bar so I have to like him if only for proximity reasons. Good two goals today, looking forward to them on motd.

Many people's gripes with Defoe is his small stature is somewhat detrimental to his ability to play a lone frontman. However, his purple patch for goals (even last season too, when Ade was our line-leader) and sometimes little bits of teamplay (many will scoff at this xD) that really provide positives for Jermain. Recently he priovided an excellent little touch to set up a goal IIRC, but my absolute favourite little bit of teamplay from Jermaine-bring-the-4ft-pain was the 3-2 Arsenal away, where he won a header against a defender to allow Rafa and Bale to run on to it. Even the commentator mentioned it in the post match interview!

...

You don't like that he has been helping the community, and that he is one of the top all time scorers for the club?
