Mourinho really testing Levy's resolve on this. I bet he caves by the end of the window.

Dele has been average since Eriksen lost form and that is long before Mourinho got here.

He's become a neither one or the other type of player. He can't play deep, he has no pace out wide and his passing has always been week. I'm sure he could still do okay playing off Kane but at the moment Kane almost does that himself far better than Dele could.

Harsh on Dele. Even if Jose doesn't fancy him, how does Gedson get ahead of him?

I don't get Jose's thinking on this one....freeze a player out at any cost? What would the rest of the team think?

You could find that Dele is already in Paris, or left out to protect the asset ahead of a move. I also imagine that insta photo will not have done him any favours during the week.

He will be to us what Salah and De Bruyne were to Chelsea. There’s also a common denominator here too.

A player that good, does not peak and become rubbish at 23

Big mistake selling him......HUGE
Unless you have the ability to see into the future (you can't by the way), you have no idea what Dele may or may not become if he were to leave.

Either I was suggesting I could in fact see into the future or I was offering my opinion on a player on an online fan forum........you decide

I really hope for the lad that he has a good deal lined up to go. He is one of the best attacking midfielders in Europe so should be easily snapped up and rescued from the putrification of Spurs

Both by the looks of it

Oh really?

So you thought I might be engaging in prophesy as opposed to offering an opinion on a player. In fairness to you it is quite unusual, almost unprecedented in fact, for supporters to exchanging opinions on formations, performances, managers and players etc on fans forum (that was sarcasm BTW, as I know you are quite a liberal person).

Relax and enjoy the game Dov. Don't worry about it.

Just let him go. Pointless for us and his career to keep him here and not even pick him in the 20 man match day squad.

The revisionism of some in here is neigh on stupidity. 6 months ago we were crying because he doesn't offer the team nearly as much as he should by this point in his career. Now we are crying because we have a manager that has the balls to stand up and say what we were all thinking.

He is a luxury player, it's as simple as that. We cannot keep him around for the odd occasion of brilliance we need consistency.

I feel Dele will be more of a social media star than a world class footballer at this point. If I am wrong then so be it but I highly doubt I will be.

If we can get a fee of £50 Million we should snap their hand off.

Well if he wont gee up a bit and is not willing to jump the fences for his manager we should just gallop him of to new pastures

That was class poetry, but now I have a disciplinary for Friday because I spat water out in laughter and it landed square between my manager's eyes. Cheers Fletch

fastest and most dramatic decline of any Spurs player I can ever recall. Each game he plays, i hope this is it......he's going to turn it around and become the Dele we all loved, but it doesn't happen.

Part of it over his long 18-24 month decline I'm sure was down to complacency. His rise was meteoric from nothing and when your 22/23 years old, perhaps not mature enough to handle it. Right now, i suspect it more down to confidence and psychology than hard work and application.

Cannot see him turning his Spurs career around now but desperately hope he proves us all wrong
