If we’re gonna play a 4-3-3 being in that midfield just does not suit Dele.

It unbalanced us, it should be between Skipp, PEH, N’dombele and Lo Celso.

At present personally I’d play Skipp and PEH and let Ddombele and Lo Celso battle it out to be the third more creative player.

Haha Tony Adams..... he knows full well we are going nowhere under Nuno so of course he is going to wax lyrical about him, the longer he stays at Spurs the better for them lot down the road no doubt at all
Adams comes across as an idiot. That’s why he’s never on as a pundit apart from wheeling him out for the derby. Failed time and again as a coach. Even Wenger wouldn’t have him. I think all the drink has pickled his brain.
Absolute plank.

Oh yeah, he's an odd fella but anybody that is in recovery from drink gets my full respect.

He never had a brain to pickle in the first place.

Adams and Campbell are trying to re-invent themselves as some kind of intellectuals, when in reality, are so thick they struggle to articulate their views and points in a comprehensible manner

i’ve changed my mind on dele. he’s the worst player at the club. i gave him the benefit of the doubt by saying doherty was worse, but he’s playing against minnows who have existed for 9 years and he looks out of his depth.

awful footballer

Same here. Really wanted him to stay and thought he'd turn it around but he's done. Shame.

Clean your mouth!?? .... yes Dele was poor again and regressing evermore every game, but Dohe**y is the worst player at the club and probably the whole history of the club

Gio moving into that position where Dele was, gio more preffred or atleast far more suitable position for him, showed why Dele has to be dropped and why Gio should be given that role/position

i’ll add into this by saying we actually looked capable of playing football as soon as he came off, and it all started in the midfield.

I still have a real soft spot for him from his peak years under Poch, but at the moment he's a bit all over the place positionally, and needs to learn to shift the ball quicker and make better use of it if he's going to make it as a central midfielder.

I dunno if it's something he'll be able to adapt to or not. I hope it starts to click for him, but it's not been great the last couple of games for sure. He seems to be caught in two minds about whether he's an AM or a CM and is leaving huge gaps in the middle.

He seems to have forgot everything that made him great as a player.

Instead of running off defenders to receive through balls, he’s deep trying to pass himself and is awful at it. Instead of quick incisive dribbles to create one-twos, it’s aimlessly dribbling until he loses the ball. Instead of shooting or quick decisions to create chances for others, it’s dallying on the ball until the chance has gone.

And worst of all he runs all day long, but there is no bite or purpose to it anymore, when he used to be an aggressive, pressing animal.

He’ll go down as the biggest ‘what if’ of our recent time imo. He could have been Lampard plus, and instead will likely be in the championship in 3 years.

I don't understand.

He used to be so good , not even good enough at this tier now :(
He never was that good. The goals or assists that he achieved in his early years would mask the other 89 mins of absolute averageness.

Do you remember that goal he scored away at Utd a couple of years ago..it was class. The rest of the game he was shite. Have a guess what his fanboys remember from that game? Do you remember the Crystal Palace goal? Every fan on this board was asking for him to be taken off..he scores that goal and what do his fanboys remember?

So have a guess what happens when those moments no longer happen at the rate they once did? You get the player that was always there in the first place and the one we have witnessed for the last 3 years.

Watched that little warm up they do on the touch line before the second half . Dele was behind the rest and put no energy into it. Couldn’t be arsed .
