Dele starts for Everton tonight - we should just go ahead and count this towards the transfer fee... playing a pseudo-PL team.
As an aside - this is on a free stream, at least in the states - the commentators are the two worst I have ever heard. Its like the read an "Intro to Soccer" book and the clubs' wiki pages about 30 minutes before the start of the game.

Are Everton playing 5 across the back, or are they sitting really deep?

I thought I was the only one watching this as I'm sad and hot and bored.

Everton are gonna be in big trouble next season. Need players badly.

I still think jesus is a great acquisition for them. Really good player.

I love American commentary.

They do yabber. I feel like with American commentators because their sports usually have a lot of gaps inbetween action, they feel compelled to chat and chat. They don't like silence.
The dude has never seen a football game before in his life.

He has a sheet of facts/trivia, and feels compelled to finish his list in the first half. Hopefully he runs out of things to talk about in the 2nd half - but I don't think I will last that long.

Haha they hate pauses. Pauses are good.

They keep calling saka... Soccer.

And now they're sucking off Jesus.

Man I like that guy. Will score a few next season.

Arsenal trained down the road from me at the Naval Academy and a player that I Coach works there during the summer. Her job is to assist with camps and teams training there. I gave her a Spurs shirt to wear while she was working with them

I know preseason means nothing really, but watching Arsenal today, I'm not worried about them at all. I really can't see them touching us.

Odd thing for me is that when Poch played 3-4-3 for second half of 2016/17 season Dele dod fit into it very well, although Poch played it in a different way and maybe it was more a 3-4-2-1?

I don’t think position if the problem, as Dele didn’t always play as a second striker for us, sometimes he played wide in the attacking three.

Football is also very much a mentality game and when it clicks it clicks.

But sometimes you just can’t get it to click again and you lose that believe and confidence that Dele had when he burst onto the scene.

I spoke to my brother in law last week, first time for months, he's a mad Everton fan and he was raving about Dele. He reckons it was his performance in the second half against Palace that turned the game and saved them. He reckons he ran the game.

Yeah from the highlights I saw Dele was the one who really stood up and took control of the game for them.

Trouble is, we have seen glimpses before where you think ok maybe hes turned the corner, that was a good 45 minutes then slips back into 6 months of nothing. I think he is checked out, I don't see him nailing down a starting place for Everton this season and then where does he go? Bounce around some promoted teams for a few years maybe.

The problem is the salary.

I think the US makes sense. His natural ability will thrive there and it’s a shorter season.
