Have we had any ITK on what Everton might owe us if he leaves? Can't imagine we'd have agreed that structure if he could just leave Everton for free/pittance.

"It is not as simple as dodging the payment outright though. i understands that if the deal is agreed with the Turkish side, Everton will still have to pay Tottenham a significant proportion of the original fee agreed in another sign of Daniel Levy’s savvy dealing."

Shit post. You can’t make accusations then hide behind some sort of ‘wall of integrity’.

You’re implication will lead to gossip, which will potentially be damaging to his career and reputation.

Either shoot your shot and back it up or don’t say anything at all?

“I’ve got something to say, but I’m not sure if I should say it” bollocks is better suited to the playground.

It’s not a ‘shit post’ as it throws some light onto why his footballing star has fallen in the last few years - the person who imparted the info is at the club. All I’m doing is passing on what I’ve been told… if I’m asked to remove the initial post I’ll gladly do so, if it is deemed as offensive to others as it is for you.

Honestly, it’s best to say nothing at all in these situations. You can’t say an accusation without potentially causing legal issues for this site, and for yourself. So instead you insinuate something but can’t substantiate it. That just causes random speculation which in itself could be harmful for the player, and also for this site.

Not trying to get at you, not at all, but some speculation is worth keeping silent about…

Fair argument. I’ll delete rather than inflame things.

I don’t doubt your intentions, and it’s not offensive but without a source (or confirmation of source via mods) then it’s unsupported and can’t be taken seriously. Given that the accusations (albeit vague) are potentially damaging to his reputation it’s not the best thing to start spreading online behind the cloak of anonymity.

Fair point. I did share with mods earlier in the year… but I don’t wish to cause further harm etc. Was written in a moment where I’d over indulged. I hold my hands up and admit it was a poor choice to post.. sometimes I get it wrong; and from the responses this confirms it’s one of those times

If there was some hope for dele, fat frank has largely killed that off. Dele did what was asked to do and made a difference in their key games. He helped keep them up and given the trouble they were in, it was arguably the most important thing he's ever done for his clubs. And he saved lampard's neck.

You can imagine all the BS lampard would have told him - I believe in you, this going to be a long term relationship, you'll be the main man, the fans will love you, you can get back in the england side.
Yet it's now pretty clear he would always be sold/loaned this window, because of the dodgy terms of the deal. Fuck him says frank.

What dele needs is stability. a family club that will stick by him. Everton is a pretty good match, but Fatz betrayal will have damaged dele even further.

It might be the club don’t let Lampard play him as don’t wanna pay out more money to us?

From what I saw of Deles appearences in an Everton shirt he hardly pulled up any trees.
Everton wouldn't want to pay for a player with such little impact anymore than we do.
While it is possible they didnt want to play him as they'd have to pay out more I think if he was playing well they would have been more than willing to do so given the position they were in.
Fact is he is not even close to the player he was.

His career and rapid ascent was almost like something from a movie at one point. Hopefully he can start enjoying football again because the fans there will adore him if he's anywhere near his best.

Genuinely hope he recaptures his love of the game and enjoys it over there.

Seen a few posts like this now and unfortunately he's not going to start enjoying it unless he puts more into it in the first place.

When you aren't getting match time just turning up and lumbering round the training pitch isn't going to change that.

Its a long shot, I mean Turkey is the graveyard of football and its going to be tough but this is the last chance saloon for him to reach any level he was at before. I dont see it personally.
