People forget this guy doesn't even start for Leicester. He's making noises because he can't get into their team. If we sign him we've had a mare.

We were very keen to sign him before he left for LCFC. Astonished that he struggles to start in that team as think he is genuinely better than all their attacking players. Despite fewer starts than he'd have hoped, he has actually featured in over 40 games at LCFC and more than 70 for Birmingham - he needs some refinement but has league experience and believe Poch would develop his talent. Instinctively I would have preferred Balde but Gray might be a very shrewd acquisition. In fact, both he and Barkley are the right kind of players to bring in - young, English with a point to prove ahead of World Cup year.

He isn't better than Mahrez, Iheanacho, Vardy or Okazaki.

Rather we gave Edwards, N'Koudou et al a proper run in the side than sign mid-tier players like Gray and King to be perfectly honest

I'm not his biggest fan, but 37 PL goals in last 2 years makes him a better player than Demarai Gray.

You don't do what he did by being dreadful. Is he elite level? No. But he's not dreadful by any stretch of the imagination

Suggestion Leicester were offering him plus cash for Townsend. Palace should bite their hands off.
As for him potentially signing for us, I'm probably in the minority but I'd be reasonably pleased. I think he has a lot of potential.
