Since Burkinshaw we have had 23 managers albeit the likes of Pleat have been in charge a few times in c/taker capacity.

Arsenal - 7

Man U - 4

Liverpool - 11

Chelsea - 10

In my opinion that is shocking.

Any particular reason you left City off the list? (apart from the fact that they have a similar stat to us which doesn't reinforce your point)

Compare the success those teams with us over the same period and you will see why there is such difference. Better off comparing us with city, Newcastle and Everton over that sort of period.

Chelsea 10? dunno about that.

They've had 10 since 2000 alone.

Chelsea have under Abramovich had, in reverse order, Mourinho, Benitez, Di Matteo, AVB, Ancelotti, Hiddink, Scolari, Grant, Mourinho and Ranieri. Since Mourinho has been hired twice I make that 9 managerial changes in what, 11 years? Interim managers who took charge for an extended period of time surely have to count on that list, so Benitez and Hiddink deserve to be mentioned. In short, that stat is complete bollocks.

Since 1984 Chelsea have had 19... Including 2 caretakers.

Also you are comparing us with teams who for 20 odd years were at the top of the game, we have been near the top for like 5 years.

Our managerial changes happened because we needed to try a fresh approach to move up the table.

While i agree it isnt a great stat to have can you tell me of those 27 managers! How many should have been kept because they have gone on to do great things with another club?

Id say in the long run we all agree most deserved the sack regardless of the squad at the time. its a results business after all.

Chelsea have also had 23 managers but have won the league x3, champions league x 1, FA cup x 6, League cup x 3, UEFA cup x 2, so where's the disgraceful stat in amongst that?

Do you actually pull that straight out of your arse? How the hell did you get to a grand total of 10? That's how many they've had today.

Sorry incorrect stat re chelsea they have actually had 23 and for the same period Man City have had 24 managers.
