Teams go on runs, for whatever reason, they just can't win or lose or draw forever, most of the time, at least.
But, do we look like we can move on?
I thought we were after Everton/Chelsea but then Palace and Besiktas showed nothing of note.
Perhaps, they were tired for Palace and most of the form team were not starting, but yet, where is this philosophy on the pitch? Funny how both AVB and Poch had philosophies going into Spurs and yet there was no evidence on the pitch there was any philosophy but general ineffectiveness.
You see teams like West Ham doing well, or Southampton, even teams like Newcastle just pulling out into a run, but since I don't follow them, are there structures already in place that make it look like the team is starting to do well? Or is it just random? Because when even Villa and Burnley can start to look better and not lose, what does it have to take us, since I surely cannot see it on the pitch. Everton/Chelsea look like a fluke performance and then we have gone back into cluelessness.
What's the point in looking forward to fixtures and games when the team is going to plod its way through it without any form of coaching or direction or style of play? I'm hoping the Swansea game shows that progress unlike the last two games. There surely is not any excuse for most of the team starting that game and Poch.
