Is a qualifier against Lithuania and a friendly against Italy really going to make that much of a difference?

From a selfish point of view, yes. This is his break-through season in the PL, and I think it would be wise to concentrate on his club up until the summer and make sure he's still reasonable fresh for the u-21 Euro's. There's no point throwing in needless games, regardless of whether they might gain him a bit of experience. There is plenty of time for him.

It's not that though, it's a precedent for him to then be a regular in the senior squad. Happens to all the young debutants - a good game and he'll be expected then and may have to play the U21s all summer too and dig himself into burn out throught enthusiasm.

Although that hasn't happened with Townsend, and with Sturridge fit again and Rooney seemingly undroppable there's enough competition for Kane to not become absolutely vital to England straight away.

I'd start him on the bench v Lithuania and give him half an hour, then start v Italy and take him off after an hour, which would only equate to one whole game.

No, Barkley hasn't been the same player for Everton since his time with Woy over the summer.

Stay away from Harry you droopy eyed prick!

Townsend is always a shoe-in despite his club form. Only reason why he didn't go to Brazil was due to injury, and he went anyway on his own to train!

why go when you know Woy will pick Sturidge, Sterling, Rooney, Lambert, Santa, the tea woman, the bar maid, himself before HK

The poll is limiting.

I want him to get called up but not until after he wins the U21 Championship. Best for everyone involved.

I mean, no one cares about international football during the season, it's stupid.

I don't usually give much thought to our players playing for their national teams but for Kane I'm excited and proud of him. Most of our players are internationals so it makes no sense for Kane to miss out just because he might get injured.

to him, playing for England will be a big deal. If he doesn't get it whilst playing for Spurs, it will make him think about moving. An England call up will also increase his value - should we have to sell him.

Do people honestly think Hodgson will have a negative effect on Kane by working with him for a few days a year? Kane is so good because of his skill, technique and vision, there's nothing Woy can do to wuin that short of bweaking his wegs and wocking him in a dark woom.

Can you imagine Harry doing "Training" sessions with England. Makes me feel sick knowing someone else will try to "train" him..

Stay away Kane. Don't do it to yourself.

It's going to happen whether we like it or not.

As an Englishman it would fill me with pride seeing Harry lead the line for many years to come.

Other than the first part, this entire post is nonsense.

Playing for Spurs will not be the reason Harry is not called up. Its only a matter of when, not if. And, Spurs are not selling Kane anytime soon. What he brings to the squad, with energy and passion, cannot be replaced. There is no amount of money that would tempt Levy to sell right now.

Years from now, the new stadium will be packed for Kane's Testimonial. And, everyone will still be singing - "He's one of our own"

Couldn't care less either way.

He gets called up then it's a massive boost for his confidence and he can kick on.

If he doesn't, then after all the talk, he'll be even more determined to prove to Hodgson and co that he's ready

These two games are meaningless friendlies so there is no need to call him up yet.

Let him develop at club level then go to the U21 championships in the summer since his goals have got England there. He can finish the job, get some major tournament experience at the same time then give him the call up next season.
