Reading some of the stuff in here reminds of that kiddies story I read or read too around 45 plus years ago.... the sky is falling the sky is falling.... can't remember the book but that line came flashing back.

This period will pass...... what's important is that we are able to:
1. Focus on recruiting the right manager.
2. Focus on moving on the excess players deemed surplus.
3. Identify and sign incoming players to take the team forward.
4. Attempt to sign Harry down to a new deal.... if not then decide if he leaves at the end of the season or leaves on a free next year and be at peace with that.
5. Restructure if required based on Paraticis appeal. ( identify new DOF)

The rest of the noise in the media space we can't control...the club have limited control there too.
The problem is the order in which youve listed these priorities
A good club with a clear structure and vision would look to complete point 5 before any other, not last.
Then use said DoF to complete the remaining tasks (because otherwise what’s the point of having a DoF if they don’t have responsibilities such as these?)

At this point you do have to start questioning whether this is all some giant social experiment to see how much we can actually put up with. It surely can’t be real life?
I’m entirely convinced that supporting Spurs is just resilience training that goes on for your whole existence.

Yeah I looked at it from where we are now.... for me the manager is the most important....but yes your point is valid in the greater scheme of things...see Paratici and the club will follow due process and appeal his sanction.... that's time consuming..... we need a manager now sorted for the summer..

But I'm certain we'll chew gum and walk at the same time.... I'm just not confident on player recruitment with all of this up in the air.

This has been a big part of the problem. The club has no direction. We keep buying players while we have no manager or any idea how we play. We buy a wing back in Doherty when we need a full back. Then buy a full back in Emerson when we need a wing back. Then we buy a wing back in Pedro and sack the coach who plays wing backs. So whats next? It's chaos.

Again, he hasn't been found guilty. Therefore he cannot be replaced, or face disciplinary action until then.

If spurs were to sack him prior, and he's found innocent, then spurs could potentially be facing unfair dismissal claims/litigation.

But surely he is in breach of contract with Spurs as he's not available to work now for the duration of his 30 month ban.?

Any reason we don’t follow regular employment law? You can let someone go with under 2 years employment for any reason you want. Does that not apply here for some reason?

Also, I’m fairly certain there’s be clauses like “bringing the club into disrepute” that means we could get rid if we wanted.

In any other work environment he would be on gardening leave or suspension pending the results of any investigation

He has been found guilty. We are waiting on the appeal.

Depends on how good said person's legal team are. Wasnt Conte employed for less than two years Chelsea and he took them to the cleaners?

He hasn't as I understand it been before a criminal court so perhaps that is why the club hasn't got rid ?
It's such an odd process. 😕

I guess it's guilty, but the defendant has burden of proof to prove innocence.

Fifa unilaterally banning Paratici, without any due process seems farcical. You'd think there would be a hearing first.

They've asked for clarification haven't they. I wonder how long that will take.
